But after four long months IndiaMart.com Jamnagar Indiamart we have to resort to social media finally to even get heard.

We've been kicked from one person to another. Thrashed for being a small business and finally with a "Do whatever you want to do".

What is our request? Just credit back us leads which are wasted because they have not been verfied properly by YOUR teams.

Has indiamart reached the pinnacle where you have stopped improvising and accepting mistakes? You recently celebrated 28 long years....but with this attitude, it's time to do a countdown now.

Farming and sustainable lifestyle is interwoven. The natural instinct to care for your surrounding and avoid excessive use of resources builds naturally.

These two topics are also the need of the hour and awareness about it, is the key to a healthy future for our generations to come.

And so, the moment South Indian Association Junior college decided to host a session on this topic, I was happy to join.

So impressed to see std XI students ardently listening to the ecological concerns and the possibles ideas to combat these problems. We deep dived and discussed mental models which create behavioural patterns of actions that cause harm to the environment.

Thank you all students of SIA, Headmistress Ms. Aparna Patil & President Shri K.V Ranganathan for hosting the event for a great cause. Together we can!!

We ® VM BIOFARMS now!!

Creating your identity is a moment of pride.
Getting it officially registered is just something else.

Just a couple of years ago when we were thinking of a brand name, we realized that we needed to check the availability of the name first.

Fortunately, VM BIOFARMS was available and we immediately decided to get it registered.

So the email from the IP department flashed yesterday with the certificate of registration and we were now officially allowed to use the ® symbol.

More than the name being unique now, the alphabets "V" & "M" mean a lot to our brand. Two of our flagship products "VermiCompost" and "Moringa Powder" signify our objective of improving soil fertility and improving shelf life of farm produce.

The second part of our name "BIOFARMS" signifies that our farms maintain the biological ecosystem.

Finally the tagline, "It's in our nature" just says that there is so much to learn from nature, one has to just observe.

A small milestone but an important "sweet nothing" ❤️

Meet Ganesh Gawade. Our one man army at VM Biofarms. This 19 year old, came to us last year with a spark in his eyes. For six months straight, he worked on daily wages. Walked 5kms one way to reach our farms and worked without any qualms.

Though he left schooling after 10th for financial reasons, he is an aspirational youngster. 6 months back I offered him a full time job with a condition that he will complete his further studies under my guidance.

So happy to see him sporting his new wheels now, purchased on his own. We are proud of you Ganesh. Rise high.

Ever since I got into farming, I have learnt to enjoy "sweet nothings" of life. This, by far, is the best one!!

My most satisfying activity in farming is planting. Watching the saplings stand tall, the next day is most promising. And sharing the final produce with loved ones is the most rewarding.

I firmly believe that, in a "not so distant" future, one who shall bend down and sow the seed, shall survive.

Last week, a bunch of old friends visited us with their kids. It was surprising to see the kids, wanting to build their tents, play in the soil, have a bath in the open under chilling cold water, eat food on their own etc....And most interestingly, nobody asked for their beloved, "Smartphone"

We beleive, it's not always "bad habits" in kids. Many a time, it's just lack of new opportunities. What do you think?

1st Jan 2022. It's been 11 months that we introduced our Vermicompost product "Vermi Mitra" in a bid to promote sustainable living and chemical free farming/gardening.
