Known for their Sizzlers and Chelo kebabs- we ordered the sizzler and both veg and non veg kebabs. Since their sizzlers don't come with Rice or Noodles, they give Pao to fill you up.
The Chelo Kebabs come with Rice and loads of butter- I have never seen something like that.
The sizzler is essentially the Chelo kebabs with gravy poured over it. Very different than what we are used to in Mumbai but tasty nevertheless.
Dessert was Meringue with vanilla ice cream with wafer biscuit and hot chocolate sauce and Mousse.

Overall, it's a quirky chilled out place, must visit because just and for the name - Peter Cat. Pls come with a massive appetite.

This trip I have had some phenomenal food but unfortunately not photographed.

We tried the lesser known dishes from the iconic restaurant, . This place is known for its Chelo kebab, which we've had multiple times, so this time we wanted to try something different. And it was awesome!

😋 We tried: Fish Makhmali Kebab, Bhetki Meuniere, Butter Naan, Paneer Butter Masala, Mutton Rogan Josh.

❤️ Experience: All of the dishes were really tasty, but the Bhetki Meuniere was exceptional. Fish kebab could have been a little better. Naan was soft and flavourful. Paneer was melt in the mouth, gravy was really delicious. Mutton Rogan Josh was a classic, tasty mutton dish to die for.

💰Price: 1200/- for two.

This chello kebab platter from is undoubtedly the best food I had in my trip to Kolkata! ❤️
It costs 520 rupees and although it’s quite expensive but it’s so worth it.. Even the rice tastes super rich with the melted butter. Each and every item is delicious but I usually don’t like eggs with rice/burger so if you do then this platter would be a 9/10 for you. For me, it’s 8/10 ❤️

A restaurant where one has to wait his/her turn for an hour to get pulled into the British yesteryears with dark woody and leather decor, old world carpeted stairs and waiters dressed in their old world charm with classic colonial delicacies like Chelo Kababs, Beckty Meunier, Sizzlers and baked dishes like Gratins. For the Indians Veg Nentara, Paneer Makhan Masala, Nentara Pulao and Masala Kulcha and Naan (Fluffiest in Calcutta) are highly recommended. There is a dish ever since inception called something for the frickle minded and one should definitely try this surprise dish !!!

History / Exciting fact : Mocambo and Petercat are owned by the Kothari family who setup Mocambo in 1956 as one of Calcutta's first five night clubs with live band and still have the Chefs with Vintage of 40+ years and with lowest attrition of staff with some waiters serving the third generation. The recent addition is Peter Hu which am yet to try

Finally I was at PETER CAT today !❣️
One of the best restaurant for mainly having meal on Kolkata. Also a perfect hangout place with your loved one, friends and your family. serves you so many dishes, snacks, drinks, desserts and branded wines as well.
basically known for it's varieties of KABAB's recipes.
Today we ordered:
🍱 Two plates of Chicken Chelo Kabab
🥗 One Russian Salad
PETER CAT's outlet is also famous for the CHELO KABAB, so I ordered it blindly.
is situated on PARK STREET, right opposite of the KFC. It's draw a great ambience. I specially love the light & plant decor.
