We keep dogs just like pets and provide them with best facilities . Samarpan is run and managed by Dastak Foundation. Our aim: The welfare of an animal includes its physical and mental state and we consider that good animal welfare implies both fitness and a sense of well-being. Any animal kept by man, must at least, be protected from unnecessary suffering. Every shelter whether at home or small s

helter or big organized shelters should provide basic FIVE FREEDOMS..
1. Freedom from Hunger and Thirst
by ready access to fresh water and diet to maintain health and vigor.
2. Freedom from Discomfort
by providing an appropriate environment including shelter and a
comfortable resting area.
3. Freedom from Pain, Injury or Disease
by prevention or rapid diagnosis and treatment.
4. Freedom to Express Normal Behavior
by providing sufficient space, proper facilities and company of
the animal’s own kind.
5. Freedom from Fear and Distress
by ensuring conditions and treatment which avoid mental suffering. Good intentions or lack of resources should not serve as an excuse for municipalities or private organizations to permit or perpetuate animal cruelty.

1. Dog Food - Any dog food like pedigree, drools, Purepet etc. - Approx 25 kgs in a week is consumed by the kids.

2. Rice - In a week the kids consume 100 kgs approx.

3. Daliya - In a week the kids consume 100 kgs approximately

We at Samarpan are in dire need of funds so that we can take care of over 38 dogs in our care at the moment undergoing treatment or taken care by the shelter since they cannot survive on their own on the streets.

Just like every month this moth too we require around 30,000 total out of which we have already received 8000 and used them too , now we don't have any fund left . We still need to buy some medicines , rice , daliya, oil , haldi , pumpkin, milk , curd etc.

Last month we tried to raise funds around 70000 for construction. Got only 40000 , some construction is still remaining (which is very urgent due to rising temperature)...So we need 30000 for construction.
Also we need to buy monthly supplies like dog food, medicines , rice, daliya etc cost around 30000.
Total amount we require is 60000...
