Hydroponic is looked as a solution to combat climate change. Is considered an Eco-Friendly approach to farming.

Firstly, it uses 90% less water than traditional agriculture.

Secondly, as it is a soil-less farming, it prevents soil from degradation and preserves the valuable top soil for plants that cannot be hydroponically grown.

I am a ‘Salad & Dessert’ person, especially in a buffet setup.

Like me, there are many who will be celebrating their birthdays at home, with their dear ones. Or would crave some dessert to pick us up during these difficult times.

Thank You for showing us some ideas on how we can make our daily meals special !

P.S. : All the leafy greens mentioned in the below recipes (Basil, Mint, Lettuces etc.) can be ordered from us. 💚
Salad Recipe : Summer Salad (Serves 2)
Wash and dry 1 cup of green leaves of your choice and keep it to chill in a large bowl. In the meanwhile, cut cubes of watermelon, around 1.5 cups and dice 100 gms of cottage cheese. To make the dressing, in a bowl add 1.5 tbsp olive oil, 2 tsp of honey/maple syrup, 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp of mustard paste, salt and pepper as per taste, 1 tbsp of chopped fresh basil and mix. Take a salad bowl, assemble the leaves, watermelon and cottage cheese. Top the salad with generous number of dried blueberries. Pour the dressing over the salad, toss gently and serve immediately.
Dessert Recipe : Dense chocolate and mango dessert cups (Serves 2)
Take two glasses/cups of your choice. Layer the bottom with slices of fresh mango, then add a layer of sliced dense chocolate cake. Top it with a layer of fresh whipped cream and another layer of fresh mangoes. Finally add a layer of hazelnut chocolate spread and garnish with some more mangoes and mint leaves. Serve chilled!

A thing of beauty is pakchoi forever!
🥬🌶🍛
Recipe : Stir fry veggies in chilli basil sauce (Serves 2)
Heat 2 tbsp sesame oil in a pan, saute slices of 5-6 button mushrooms, 5-6 pods of garlic, 1/2 tsp of garlic granules, a star anise with a pinch of salt for 2-3 minutes. Add 2 tbsp of tomato powder/puree, 1 cup water, 4 slit bird eye chillies, 2 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of green chilli sauce, 2 tbsp of jaggery, 1 tsp vinegar, 1/2 tsp pepper and salt as per taste, mix and simmer for 2 minutes. Now mix 2 tbsp of corn flour in 1/3 cup water and pour into the pan, stirring continuously. Add more water if needed, the sauce should not be too thick or too thin. Add 1/2 cup florets of brocolli and a handful of fresh basil , mix and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Finally add 1/2 cup bellpeppers and a bunch of pakchoi and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Serve with rice!
