Yesterday I had went for a training consult for a Labrador,he's a 4 months old puppy. I was so happy to see a crate they had for the pupper.

I am writing this post to create awareness amongst pet parents about teaching the pets right and not give them a chance to make mistakes and create a (bad) habit of it
The most common problem which a new dog owner faces is the p*e poo habits of a dog.
Ideally a dog will never p*e or p**p at places they eats or rests. It's a natural instinct for them to go away and relieve themselves.
The more chance you provide them to p*e and p**p here and there,the more they'll do it.
Here's what you need to do-
1. Restrict the dogs movement in the house to a limited space. Preferably feed them there.
2. They p*e and p**p usually after waking up/after play time/after eating food.
3. Note down their own unique pattern and schedule the dogs walk according to it.
4. Have a designated place in the house(as well)where the pup can p*e and p**p.
5. The moment activities mentioned in point 2 are done,take the dog to that designated place/down for a walk.
6. Reward the dog when they relieve themselves in that designated place in the house or during the walks(remember,food or treats is not the only reward)
Do try it with your new dog and let me know how well it goes.
Things to remember- it takes months to create a habit in dogs. Expect some accidents here and there,that's fine. It's a puppy and will make mistakes. Being a responsible dog owner,it's our duty to provide least chances for a dog to make mistake.
Practice daily,consistency is the key!

We had a training consult for Patchy at
I normally go for consults at the clients place,but thought of doing it differently this time.
The ones who've been following me from atleast a year,know that KC is my favourite chilling spot(and i had not been there for quite some time).
I had some work closeby,and Patchy's foster too had some work at NIBM,so I asked her to come to KC instead
The consult went very well,Patchy behaved well there. She even made friends,everybody was talking about Patchy and her eyes.. overall a great experience for her considering socialization.
It's legit fun to work at places you love.
I'm thinking of doing it more often 🤩

Been quite some time I've been focusing on regular administration of Bach flower along with training sessions as a part of my training program. The best part about Bach flower is that it's completely safe on pets and has 0 side effects.
In frame- Eva,3 years old Indie
We did some leash walking sessions with Eva when she was around 6 months old.
Currently her owners needed some help with dealing with her seperation anxiety since they have started working from office.
Eva was adopted during the lockdown, she's used to her humans being around all the time.
Along with guiding Eva's owners to work on her seperation anxiety,we have also started giving her Bach remedies.
Like us, dogs are emotional creatures. And hence, they’re subject to a range of behavior problems that are influenced by their emotional state.
When a dog's emotions are balanced,their behavior is more reasonable and less extreme. And Bach flower works exactly on that.
Using this has made my job as a dog trainer easier.

Does your dog love their crate?
Just like we live in the house but sleep/rest in the bedroom,similarly dogs too need to have their own room,a place which gives them a sense of safety- A crate
Before we domesticated dogs,they used to live in the caves,it is coveredby 3 sides and is open from one side. When crate training the puppy,it's very important to introduce it in a right way so as to make the puppy feel safe
A crate is an amazing training tool
It can help with multiple things
-it helps to keep the puppy in a safe environment when we are busy with households and are unable to attend the dog
-it helps with potty training
-dogs love crate if introduced properly, it gives them a feeling similar to being in a den.
-it helps dogs to cope with seperation anxiety. Anxious dogs are scared and alert dogs. A crate helps them to experience that they're not bothered by anything or anyone inside the crate,hence it helps them stay calmer.
-an amazing tool to teach dogs to stay alone,in a safe place without us worrying about furniture/clothes, footwear getting damaged,or the puppy getting hurt

On 23rd March 2022,it would be 3 years since Molly came home.
The day when she came home,she was weak,pregnant and mauled by dogs.
I've been rescuing animals from quite a while but my parents never allowed me to have animals inside the house. I was lucky in Molly's case. We got her neutered and sterilized with the help of The Catrina Foundation. My parents allowed me to keep Molly till lockdown lifted because they knew it would be difficult to get her adopted that time. Since then I've been in search of an adopters for her.
Can all my followers come forward and take a little bit of extra efforts to help me get her adopted?
I would be very grateful
She's a typical Calico,doesn't like to be touched a lot but she needs humans around,is very playful but might take some time to open up
My requirements for an ideal family for Molly are very basic
- family should be able to provide her meat based balanced diet
-family should get her vaccinated and dewormed regularly
-family should be financially stable enough to hire a pet sitter or keep her at a boarding facility if they have to travel.
-family should not leave her behind if they're moving out of town/country
-family should be okay with us(my family) visiting Molly once in few months
-family must get the balconies and windows netted if they live in an apartment on 2nd floor or above,this is for Molly's safety.
