Kigelia Fresh Produce, is a registered Kenyan company that owns and runs its own farm in Kirinyaga County and works with smallholder farmers around. The first UN Millenium Goal is to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger. It is against this backdrop that Kigelia Fresh Produce decided to address this goal by taking the issue on food security seriously through horticultural farming. Besides the farming activities, employment has been created hence boosting income and improving livelihoods.
