Our Story
St. Achilles Kennel was initiated in the year 1991 and ever since then our sole purpose has been to improve the standards of Dog breeds residing in Sri Lanka. For this purpose we have worked tirelessly to improve the breeding process within the island by introducing a rich variety of blood lines within Sri Lanka. Our dream is to uplift the standards of Dogs within the island to an international level so that our canines would be able to compete in an international arena.
Our Kennel started off with Doberman Pinschers, and ever since then we have moved on to Dalmatians, Rottweilers, Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Pug and Bullmastiff. We have over 25 dogs at St. Achilles Kennels and the main services offered by our Kennel are Stud Service, Pick of the Litter Puppies, Boarding Kennels and we also provide breeders with Professional Grade feed and accessories required for producing the next generation of Dogs in Sri Lanka.
As mentioned earlier our key strength is the ability to import high quality dogs from reputed kennels all over the world to provide breeders within Sri Lanka the ability to choose from a diverse range of blood lines. We work with competent people to select promising pups. We have also worked with suppliers of notable brands of dog feed. We help breeders in Sri Lanka to get trained so that they can reach the next level to become professional dog breeders.
