Good morning everyone, Burt here :)
I have been at the sanctuary for a while now and have had very little adoption offers :( I am not sure why; maybe because of my size or breed.
Yet the people who do know me say that I am a lovely boy. I get very excited when it's time for my walks, but don't let my excitement scare you, it's only because I don't go out as often as dogs in a forever home do. I do settle down when I am out 😇
I am super playful. I love a good game of catch in our outdoor area. But what I love the most, is teasing the volunteers as they change my bedding 🤣 I absolutely love taking the sheets and make them chase me for them 😁
Yet despite my silly side, the volunteers say I am very well behaved. I follow their commands and am sure that with a little patience, will be able to learn more.
I am neutered, a big lover of treats and of course cuddles and sloppy kisses.

He may be on the big size, but don't let that scare you off. Zeus loves nothing more than to go out on walks, chase tennis balls and play in our paddling pool <3 He is also a very good swimmer and gets super excited when he sees the sea 🤩
Zeus would need someone well experienced with the breed. Someone who knows their strength as he can be quite strong. Yet despite this, once he is out, Zeus is very well behaved and a pleasant buddy to walk with :)

There is nothing better than a nice cool dip in the pool on a warm summer's day <3 Little pleasures like these, give us the opportunity to see another side of our sanctuary dogs which we may not get to see simply by walking the dogs.
This little nutter here is Rex. Still quite young, Rex loves nothing more than to run around and play and chase balls. He also loves the occassional dip in our doggy pool.
Rex adores human contact and with a little patience and training, would surely make a lovely addition to any family. He also gets on well with most dogs and wouldn't mind to have a doggy companion to keep him company when his hoomans are away <3
