"Progress is cumulative," they say. Each business follows its unique growth trajectory, and perfection evolves over time. The Phuka Incubation Program wasn't just a mere walkthrough; it shaped our businesses, fostered personal growth, and created valuable networking opportunities.
Our founder, Gloryfrancis Maganga (Full-time Farm Manager), represented the program. Having graduated from this enlightening agribusiness program, we carry a treasure trove of lessons and proudly, this was our first pitch platform, even though we didn't win the grand prize. The gained experience is a significant step toward another milestone.
Our pitch garnered the most popular votes β an interesting presentation that resonated with 510 votes. We may not have claimed the top prize, but the support from everyone turned it into a landslide win of 1 Million (details for another day).
With Mwk 1 Million in hand, we are poised to boost and expand our seedlings by opening a new branch in Lilongwe. This move will make our seedlings readily available to farmers across Lilongwe and its surrounding districts. Now, that's what we call "Steps of Growth."
A heartfelt thanks to Standard Bank Malawi and The Centre For Agricultural Transformation for this program. Special appreciation goes to the Synergy Labs for imparting invaluable business growth skills to our farming business, contributing to our success.
