XiaoMi 🐱

XiaoMi recently went through a tough time with mastitis after nursing her kittens for 2 months. Owner noticed sweeling on the mammary glands and got her to us right away.

Thankfully, with 5 days of treatment, she's doing much better now!

Prevention is always better than cure! Here's how to help prevent mastitis:
- Proper hygiene: Keep your cat's bedding and nursing area clean and dry.
- Monitor kittens' feeding: Ensure all kittens are getting enough milk and nursing properly.
- Nutrition: Provide your cat with a nutritious diet to support lactation.
- Minimize stress: Create a calm and quiet environment for your nursing mama cat.

By being aware of mastitis and taking preventive measures, you can help your cat have a healthy and comfortable nursing experience!

Hit by Car to Happy Meals: XiaoBai’s Jaw Fracture Journey ➡️️

Before:

Owner found XiaoBai injured on the side of the road. He was brought to our clinic and we discovered a mandibular symphysis fracture, a break in his lower jaw. This type of injury can happen from trauma, like being hit by a car. This is also the most common type of mandibular fracture in cats

After:

Once we stabilized XiaoBai, we performed a surgery to repair his fractured jaw. The surgery went well, and XiaoBai was a trooper throughout.

Amazing Recovery:

The best part? XiaoBai was already eating on his own the very next day after surgery! This is a great sign of a smooth recovery. Look at him! Eating like a champ just 1 day post-surgery.

Happy Ending:

XiaoBai’s story is a reminder of the resilience of our furry friends. With proper care and veterinary expertise, even serious injuries can be overcome.
