Case Sharing - PRAA in a 3 months old German Shepherd Dog puppy.

Persistent RIght Aortic Arch (PRAA) is a congenital abnormality of the blood vessels that can interfere with the function of the oesophagus. It means an embryonic branch of the aorta wraps around the oesophagus and puts pressure on the oesophageal tube, making it difficult for food to descend through and cause the patient to vomit and unable to ingest a lot of food.
