Unilateral abdominal cryptochidism in a cat is a condition whereby one of the testicles had failed to descend and was retained in the abdomen. The retained testicles tend to be of abnormal size and shape compared to a normal one and they have a higher risk of developing tumors and cancers of testicles. This is usually a genetic condition and cats with this condition are not encouraged to breed.
