The only physical theatre peformance in George Town Festival 2014! Nine Deaths One Life (9 4 1 3) is a site-specific promenade theatre production in a burnt down shop house. ACT ONE — 940
Wherein the rituals between the living and the dead are explored; do we who live do so in the past, present or future? Is the act of praying to the deceased more to appease t
he dead, or ourselves? Act one delves into the intimate relationships that forge between those who live and those who have lived and left. ACT TWO — 9:05
Wherein the taboos surrounding the discussion topic of death are shattered. What is life all about and what happens in the afterlife? Act two assembles a gathering party in where the mysteries of life and death are explored. ACT THREE — 9 Dishes 1 Tummy
Wherein the topic of animal death is explored. Animals are killed and cooked all the time, some even made into offerings for man’s ancestors. What would happen if the tables were turned? Act Three showcases the retaliation of 9 animals on man. Presented by Darkhorse Physical Theatre
