Composition:

Each gram powder contains:

200 mg Sulphamerazine sodium

25 mg Sulphaquinoxaline sodium

25 mg Pyrimethamine

100 mg Furaltadone HCl

5 mg Vit K3

15,000 i.u. Vit A

Spectrum of activity:

Sulphonamides demonstrate synergy with the dihydrofolate reductase inhibitor pyrimethamine which inhibit a later stage in folic acid synthesis. This combination acts bacteriostatic, and in many cases bactericidal against a large number of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Sulphaquinoxaline is an anticoccidial agent. Furaltadone is active mainly against Gram-negative bacteria, while vitamin K3 and A act as essential nutritional agents.

Indications:

For the prevention and control of caecal and intestinal coccidiosis, Pullorum disease and fowl typhoid enteritis in poultry.

Contra-indications:

Birds producing eggs for human consumption.

Dosage and administration:

Orally, via the drinking water.

The general dose is 1 g/l of drinking water for 3 consecutive days.

Withdrawal time:

For meat: 14 days.

Storage:

Store closed in a cool and dry place.

Shelf life:

3 years.

Drug of Choice: Ty-Diclazuril

PRODUCT INFORMATION

General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Diclazuril oral suspensions.

Diclazuril is a new anticoccidial drug. It is used in the treatment and prevention of coccidial infections in chickens and lambs caused in particular, by the more pathogenic Eimeria species E. crandallis and E. ovinoidalis. Diclazuril oral suspension aid in the control of coccidiosis in calves caused by Eimeria bovis and Eimeria zuernii.

Diclazuril is an anticoccidial of the benzeneacetonitrile group. It has a coccidiocidal effect on the asexual or sexual stages of the development cycle of the parasite.

Treatment with diclazuril causes interruption of the coccidial cycle and reduces excretion of oocysts for up to 14 days.
