Indeed this statement was evident as our indefatigable NVMA Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association , President, Dr Moses Arokoyo was presented with a Service and Leadership Award🥉 at the 60th Anniversary Celebration of the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Moore plantation, Ibadan.

The event with the theme, "Harnessing the Potentials of Colleges of Agriculture to achieve Food Security in Nigeria" was well attended by eminent dignitaries including the Distinguished Governor of Oyo state, Governor Seyi Makinde ably represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture, Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye, the Executive Secretary, Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria, Prof Garba Sharubutu, The College Provost, Dr Adekoya Owosibo,FCAH&PT, The Dean, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ibadan, Prof. Olufunke Ola- Davies took place recently at the college auditorium.

This award is a testament to the fact that the good works of Mr president are not unnoticed.

So let's all be inspired by this and keep doing well even as the President's favourite catch phrase resonates in our hearts and mind...

Yesterday officially marked the end of the IT journey of my 6 interns who are 300 level Zoology students from Benue State University.

This will make them the second set after Faith Mimidoo, Cynthia Ogbole, Olah Peter & Charles Charles made us expand our scope at MoboVet Veterinary Services to meet their unique needs as we prior to now stayed on our "lane" of veterinary students.

It's been 6 months already and I very proud of the progress they have made individually and collectively.

A few words to you all as you move to your final lap as undergraduates.

Johngreat Boheje Iyanya - You were the first to turn up on the first day at the clinic. That was a good first impression. You have consistently demonstrated commitment to learning and growing. I will urge you to do more to improve you confidence in the face of intellectual conversations. You write quite well. Perhaps you should pay more attention to developing that ability.

Betty Ameh - I have wondered why you always come forward anytime you people fall short of my expectations and your feedback made sense. That is a gift. To be able to calm nerves when tempers are high or to know when to intercede speak strongly to your ability as a mediator. I hope you make true the intention to take up Veterinary medicine after zoology. You can be sure of my mentorship through out the journey.

Favour Sechivir Gbilekaa, - You are bold. It's a good thing. People often hide their voices even when they have something to say. Owing your voice is a powerful thing. Do more to hone your ability to improve on things you find fulfilment in.

Obochi Elizabeth - The egg plug. Entrepreneurship holds alot of promise both for self sufficiency and impact to society. It's great you have the passion. When you need clarity on this path, I am a call away. Also, I value your depth of insights and questions during class engagements.

Esther Mgbede Amboh - It's interesting to know that your colleagues trust your ability to negotiate through any thing. That is a strength because nothing seems to be free this days so if you can get the best deal out of life, why not!

Manger Faith Nguher - The quiet one of the pack. Introverted persons like you and I do more internally. So from one introvert to another: the world will sometimes mistake your silence for ignorance. Resist the urge to fit it. Your originality comes from proving your worth rather than winning arguments.

Welcome to and remember everything that I said to you all in actions and deeds. The world is in short supply of independent minded people. I hope your short stint with me has shown you that it pays to stay true to your calling.

You have my best wishes on the journey forward and I love you all.

Let me also appreciate Ayua Victor Kwaghwen, Justin Gbayange & Daniel Adoyi who have instilled value at intervals in the course of their journey.

P.S. I thoroughly love the frame you left for me in the office.
