I did not know this about window cleaner. Antifreeze is terrifying enough to dog owners. Feel free to share.

This is my good friends sad post. I’m sharing in hopes of saving someone else’s pet from such a disaster:
In hopes of saving someone else's pet.
I had to hand Duke over to God today due to a paper towel I cleaned a window with. The vet staff had no idea until the research was done. There is a chemical in the blue windex that is the same in antifreeze. 3 drops will kill your dog. We tried fluids and meds for over 24 hours. He was not responding. Only getting worse. Please dispose of any paper towels you use windex with in a secure place where the babies can't get to it. He would have been 5 May 13th

The story of the faithful dog Hachiko is always worth telling, Hachiko waited for years at the train station of the city of Shibuya, Japan, on Hidesaburou Uenou, his owner. Unfortunately, the owner never returned as he died of a heart attack.
March 8 is the anniversary of the day Hachiko died to finally be reunited with his owner. As a token of remembrance, this statue was made.

This is so true. Paw licking is often because of sore muscles and nerves. My active BC Perry sees a chiropractor once a month for a tweak when I do. I never lick my paws. 😆

This is 1st of Feb 8 years ago. Blake and his sister Bella would've been 19 today. I hope he's having a party with all his family. Perry will have a Bikkit or two today on behalf of him.

Toxic algae is appearing in our rivers again as it does this time every summer. The tiniest piece can kill a large dog so please keep your dog away, on a leash or muzzle it.

Swimmers are being advised to take caution while dog owners should keep dogs on leashes or avoid the Ruamāhanga river at Double Bridges as toxic algae, including detached algal mats, have been identified at the site.
