Bring your dog in this Saturday to get your dogs nails trimmed for free!

Bring your dog along to Pet Space this Saturday 10th June between 10am- 2pm and get their nails trimmed for free! It particularly important to get nails trimmed in Winter as dogs are less likely to wear them down naturally, due to less outdoor exercise.
We have a great range of collars, leads, food, treats and training accessories to check out as well.

You can find us located at 149 Ormond Road next to CareVets in the Ballance street village.

It's the end of an era for Harry and Sam. It's been an incredible 5 years, but was time for a change. We have now rebranded and expanding in to our new location. In addition to grooming Pet Space also offers 2 DIY Dog baths and an awesome retail store with all the latest in Pet accessories.

We are beyond excited to finally announce our new groomer, Camila!!!🍾🎉🎉🐶🐱

Camilla owns VIP Pet Salon in Whangarei and now she is opening her second VIP Pet Salon here inside our Pet Space building! She will be a completely separate business to us but will be taking on 90% of our grooming. Not only does she groom dogs but she also does CATS!

"Camila has experience as a vet nurse and has been grooming for 16 years. Grooming is her passion, and she has competed and won competitions in New Zealand and Internationally. Her ability to calm even nervous dogs comes from years of experience and training"

From the 1st April, Harry and Sam will become Pet Space (even though our new shop isn't open until 15th April, confusing I know, sorry!). Our new website is up and running, please go and check it out at www.petspace.co.nz. It will give you a sneak peek of all the products we will stock in our retail salon.
We have a new page so would love it if you could like and follow our new page, PetSpace.

We have a new groomer joining us at Pet Space, we are just in the process of sorting out when she can move here and opening up her schedule and then she will all ready to be booked. I will introduce her later in the week, I think she is incredible, and I know you will too!

We had originally blocked the next two weeks off, in order to concentrate on setting up the new shop Pet Space and install the cremation machine, but both are behind schedule so we thought we would open a couple of days this week and next week to get some dogs groomed.

So last week I posted about a sweet little dog that had seemingly been left at our shop. Here’s an update of where he’s at now:

His new name is Tommy and he is living with a beautiful retired couple who absolutely adore him. He is going for walks twice a day, sleeps in the bed and has a chiahuahua brother named Cruz to play with (and they get on well together). He has been registered, microchipped and getting his teeth checked out next week.

Thank you to everyone who showed interest in this sweet pup, it’s amazing how kind our community is.

To the person that left him in our care, I can’t imagine it was an easy decision and what you are going through right now, but I hope this post brings you some comfort to know that he is being well cared for. Please reach out if there is anything more I can do for you ❤️

Anyone recognise this sweet boy?

Since he came with a packed bag, we are assuming he’s here for an extended stay. And that’s ok, he’s safe and we are going to take very good care of him.

The vets say he’s healthy and is such a sweet natured dog so I’m sure he was very well loved and it can’t of been an easy decision.

Would love to know his name.

If he is unclaimed in the next few days we will start to look for his forever home.

For those of you who don't receive or read my emails we have some very exciting news!!
Harry and Sam is going through some major changes atm with the main one being we are rebranding into PetSpace. As well as changing our name we are also moving shops (last time I promise 😅), this time just across the car park to the old villa next to Care Vets. You just park in your usual spot and look for the new signs.
We have an awesome team of tradies currently working on the fitout of the new shop and we hope to move in early April. (will keep you posted on an exact date).

Some exciting things about our new shop:
🐕 We will have two DIY dog baths, so you can come in and wash your own dog and use our amazing shampoos and conditioners. We will recommend products based on your dogs skin and coat type.
🐩We will have an awesome range of all things needed for your dogs, from food, treat, flea and worm treatments, health care products, shampoos, toys and other fun things.
🦮 As you know we are under the pump with the amount of dogs that need grooming, I am working on convincing some amazing groomers to come to town and join the team. No promises yet but stay tuned, I am sooo excited for this!

Check out our new website www.petspace.co.nz where you can have a sneak peek of some of the products we are going to sell, or even purchase them online. I am adding products everyday and will continue to improve the website over the coming weeks.
