Last night, just before dusk, I heard a commotion out where the chickens are - Rambo got out of the pen and was attacking Romeo - turns out these two live up to their names. Rambo is an Arseh*le that charges after food etc, barging thru the hens to get to it, whereas Romeo almost starves himself to call the hens to food and if one comes near his piece of food he leaves it for them. Romeo has a wee limp this morning, but other than that seems fine. Hope I dont have to go all Terminator on them

Today is the shortest day, so (in theory) our chickens should start laying again soon, as the days start getting longer - one can only hope. I guess they have to stop moulting first tho
