Daisy and I would like to thank you for all the lovely messages. She ended up having another 2 still born kittens on Wednesday. That’s 14 in total. If we weren’t there we wouldn’t have believed it.
I spent Wednesday snuggling and snacking with her. I’m happy to say she has gained back 300gms of her lost 1.3 kilos. She is still being super needy but we don’t mind that one bit.

Daisys week has been a hard one.
11 days ago she started dropping weight really fast and her food and liquid intake became next to nil. She spent the night on a drip and came home. Didn’t pick up that much, back to the vets twice and on Sunday was admitted again.
New antibiotics, 48 hours on a drip she came home yesterday but went into premature labour within the hour of getting here.
Daisy was pregnant with 12 babies. A hard task to ask of any first time Mummas body let alone a Mumma who was suffering with a gut/bowel infection.
She was 6.2 kilos when mated and 4.9 after miscarrying the babies. This is a photo of her with me today, we are spending a day cuddling on the couch. I’m sad to lose her babies only two weeks before they were due, but so happy she is back eating and drinking like there was no tomorrow. She is and was my priority.
I can’t thank my love Scott, my mentors Karen and Amanda and my cat breeding friend Latasha enough. I had so many questions and doubts but you were all there for me reassuring me and giving me sound advice and lots of love.
And to Vet Services Napier, you rock! You were honest with me and provided top notch care for Daisy the whole way through.

Captain. 9 months. Not hefty but almost 7 kilos. Getting his man looks starting to appear as well as his stud tail.
I told him he’ll always be my little boy and he gave me big snuggles. He might be my favourite.

It seems pirates know how to enjoy shore leave at the honeymoon suite! This morning, I found chairs on their heads and food bowls scattered. The video evidence shows a raucous time, and Blueberry's floor-rolling shenanigans confirm it was a night to remember.

Pearl (6mo) finally out of quarantine. Every pirate needs his Black Pearl and this one’s a whopper. First introduction to Captain and they played together for ages. He said , “I farted on her so she must be mine!”

Full sisters. Molly (7 mo) and Blueberry (12 mo). Both from Manacoons. Dad Monte and Mum Vienna.
They were checking out the new shed today. They gave it lots of thumbs up because they are both .

Meet Mabel (Flurmonz Sabelina). She is so darn confident already. Mabel is 9 months old and is a Brown Tabby Tortie. She will stay land side for about 10 days and then will join the crew aboard the pirate ship. Just spending some outdoor time in the sunshine. Thank you Judy for trusting me with your lines. 4 nights in paradise. Daisys last trip to Monte Carlo wasn’t successful in bringing home the treasure. So this time Manacoons Monte sailed his ship in the Hawkes Bay. Daisy was absolutely had it by the time he sailed home. But she said it was worth every minute. (I hope so too!)

Big news: Ykatocoonz Arleebee ( Arrrr Lee- said like a 🏴‍☠️ pirate) 🖤🤍🩶 10 months of huge smoochiness has joined us as an up coming stud. We already love him so much and so does Blueberry 😉. We don’t think he’s working yet but he’s having a good crack 😉.

She should have a sore throat with all the cat calling she was doing a week ago. Now the long wait to see if it worked 🤣. Video of the sound in comments. This was from inside and she was outside, all windows shut. Was glad when it stopped.

When Daisy said she was off to Monte Carlo she actually meant she was off to see Monte Carlo 😳. After talking with Monte’s co-pirate we strongly suspect she isnt just coming home with souvenirs but some silver and smokey treasures in her belly. We all have our fingers and polydactyl toes crossed that all goes well and we have a reveal in early October 🖤🩶🤍. Manacoons Monte Carlo

These two salty sea sirens jumped ship for an excursion in Monte Carlo leaving behind this cheeky note: “We’ve been screaming like banshees day and night for the past two months about the Captain’s performance. We’ve jumped ship to spend time with more swashbuckling pirates with bigger guns and cannon balls to match. We will see you when we’ve had our fill!” RUDE! 🏴‍☠️ 😳 but hopefully they come home with chests (or bellies 😉) full of treasures
