Bugger it, they're all in together while I'm here.
Maverick has been a perfect gentleman so far. Halter left on just in case he becomes a turd.
Brandy update!
Shes so big, the night with summer has gone well. Summer doesn't want to groom her yet, but the time will come π€£
We did some faltering and leading practice. First day with the lead fully attached and only one moment where she wanted to go backwards and up. Lots of scratches for this wee star!
I have some winter fun days lined up for her to get some show practice in before registered shows start up next season!
Uncle casper will move in soon as he likes being with the shrimps and is very kind to the babies.
Day 2 of horses being in work. None are where they should be π€¦ββοΈ
Jam can jump really high
Mav stands nicely at the tree of patience
And I have to go catch them. Again. Pray for me π
π
π
It's so dark and wet that it's hard to get anything done at the horses!!!!!
Bring on the weekend and maybe going to the beach with the shrimps!
Honestly maverick π€¦ββοΈ this is one of his favorite things to do to engage, lick and then grind his teeth on your palm. Can you hear the squeak of his teeth on my palm π
Casper isn't the easiest horse at times. However this weekend he was so good and let mw bridle him with no issues and put the reins over his head- both normally are no nos.
Just time, patience and the right calming supplements π
Harry is a trouble maker. This halter and lead were hanging on the gate π€¦ββοΈ
I'll eventually get someone to video me. Until then enjoy my terrible videos, where I cut out some of the horse π
Stormy got to experience the hulahoop of death tonight π
Thr more I do with him, the more he can stay π€£
Tonight's training for rosie is to put her front feet in and out of a tyre. This one often comes up at shows, and she always acts like it will kill her.
Not bad for less then 5 minutes training!
How clever is storm?????!!!
After working on hindquarter yielding, I put it all together for pivoting each way.
I always start with small portions of movement, then start asking for more movement as they get confident and give the right answers
We also worked on the scary bear, and walking, trotting and halting on the lead. It was way to hot so I gave up, and will wait till ita cooler
Caught Harry's first time (I think) over the tarp
