I’m Tanya, a dog owner and groomer. I came across a market store with these awesome products on one of my holidays around NZ. As a mobile dog groomer, I recommended and sold these collars and leads to many of my clients. They have been so beneficial, in particular to those dog owners that are elderly or who have a disability. So, in conjunction with Horana Pets we have set up this online store to

make these products more accessible to other dog owners around NZ and soon all around the world. We sell a SLIP COLLAR range with no difficult clip or buckle. This makes our collars easier to use for an everyday collar and walking collar in one. It is also available in a wide range of colours and can be embroidered with your dog’s name or if you would like we can add your phone number for identification. Even as a dog groomer, I struggle to get the conventional clip or buckle collars off my doggy clients where instead our slip collar can be easily slipped off to start the groom with no fuss. Maybe you know someone who struggles with getting a dog collar on or a lead on a very excitable dog then this is the next level of collar you should get for them. I am a firm believer that if you can manage to still look after your dog unassisted then you will enjoy walking them more often and continue to live an independent life. Also available is an awesome LEAD RANGE to assist owners to walk their dog and to attach your dog to a fixed object with ease (all in the one lead) when you have to temporally leave them unattended or if you stop at a café. 😀❣As a carer for my mum, who has Alzheimer's, World Alzheimer's Day holds special meaning for me. We're now in our fourth year of this journey, and each year I witness a little more of her memory fade. But she still knows who I am, and I do my best to keep her in her daily routine. One thing she insists on doing is caring for her dogs. Despite my offers to help, she always declines, saying she enjoys looking after them because of the love they give her. I believe this is why I cherish caring for her—it mirrors the care she gave me as a baby, a child, and an adult. Now, I’m giving back by looking after her. Every new stage of Alzheimer’s teaches me something, though I still need time to adjust when I see what she has lost. This World Alzheimer's Day, on September 21st, let’s take time to honor those on this journey and raise awareness.
