We understand the need for your family pets to have lots of pats and cuddles as well as plenty of space to lounge around in while soaking up some sun. With this in mind, Paradise Cattery has been set up to give your cat the maximum comfort and pampering to which all cats are entitled. The small size of the cattery enables us to give all our holiday makers individual attention. There are no communa

l runs, but two or three cats from the same family can occupy one run if desired. Each unit is very spacious; floor to ceiling in height, 1 metre wide and 2 metres long. There is a shelf on the back wall which has a sleeping box and space for your cat to sit and view the wide open spaces of the garden outside. We aim to give your family member as a relaxing and stress free holiday as you will be looking forward to. If you are going away for other reasons, at least your cat will have had a good rest! Due to a sudden change in circumstances for a family, I have an urgent request to help find a new forever home for Lola. We need a new home for her by 12 July.

If you can help or know someone who might be able to take Lola in, I would love to hear from you.

Lola hasn’t always had the best of love and care in her earlier years and was left to fend for herself a lot. She found a home with a family who care for her very much and attend to her every whim and desire, but sadly their circumstances have changed and they need to find a forever home for Lola.

Due to her life experiences, she would be better suited to a home with adults as she is not used to children. In the past, Lola has been around other cats and a chicken, but equally enjoys the benefits and attention of being an only cat.

Lola is approximately 10 years old and is in good health with no issues or concerns. Her vaccination is currently overdue, but will be up to date before going to her new home.

Lola is independent and does take a little while to get to know people and to trust them, but once she feels comfortable, she is quite affectionate. In true cat style – she will allow you to pat her and rub her back which she loves, but she doesn’t like being picked up.

She also loves to stretch out in the sun and when the weather is not so nice, she likes nothing more than to curl up on her blanket in front of the heater or on a bed.

I have always found Lola to be friendly and she loves rubbing around my legs. Equally though, if she feels like ignoring me, she will (but then, so do all cats :-) ).
