My name is Jacqui and I run Dog Walking Out West along side my Mum Katherine. We currently foster dogs for the SPCA and have been doing so for the past 15 years, it's given us experience working with a wide range of dogs all different in age, size and personality. From Huskies and Pitbulls to Fox terriers and Pugs and everything in between. We have both recently completed a course in dog walking r

un by K9 Education. The course was full of information including engagement, body language and play styles and emergency first aid. I have also completed Unitecs New Zealand Certificate in Animal Management-Canine Behaviour and Training in 2019. We are both extremely passionate about making sure your dogs have the best experience while in our care. Our aim is to make sure each walk is different and exciting as well as personalized to meet your dog's specific needs, we understand that every dog is different and work hard to understand your dogs and give them the best experience while on our walks. 🎄 IMPORTANT CHRISTMAS DATES 🎄

First off a massive thank you to everyone for being patient with us this year! Most of you will now know that Jacqui is pregnant and due at Christmas. If bubs decides to cooperate Katherine will be running walks up until the 15th of December, but if bubs decides to come a little early we will be pausing walks straight away so those 2 weeks of December walks are not guaranteed! And then Katherine will be starting back up January 22nd 😊 This also means we won't be doing any pet sitting or home stays for a wee while.

Gorgeous Herbie has left us and crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈
Herbie and his sister Phoebe joined our walks almost 5 years ago, we also had the pleasure of dogsitting them at their house. Herbie, you were an absolute ray of sunshine 🌞 You loved zoomies and playing with your friends. It's not gonna be the same without you 😞

Earlier this week Pipers big Sister Rosie crossed the rainbow Bridge. Rosie didn't appear on the page much but we had the pleasure of looking after her quite a bit over the past couple of years. She was one of Blazes favourite cuddle buddies. We are going to miss you sweet girl x

Bit of an update! Yesterday Dolly Girl had surgery to remove a lump from her mammary tissue. We are waiting for biopsy results 🤞She's doing really well so far, but please be patient as photo uploads might be a bit sparse. We also have some things going on outside of dwow so we have our hands pretty full for the next few weeks 😊
