Leptospirosis is a bacterial disease that affects humans and animals. It is caused by bacteria of the genus Leptospira. Both in human and animals, can cause a wide range of symptoms, some of which may be mistaken for other diseases. Some infected patients, however, may have no symptoms.

Without treatment, Leptospirosis can lead to kidney damage, meningitis (inflammation of the membrane around the brain and spinal cord), liver failure, respiratory distress, and even death.

Please be very careful everytime you walk your pets or even inside our homes for they may contract this kind of infections specially during this rainy season..

🐕 Hello dear furparents. Meet COCO, our resident patient here for almost 2 months.

🐾 He was brought to our clinic observed to be anorexic, lethargic, emaciated, with skin problem/mange & few ticks. Also Tested Positive with Anaplasmosis and with signs of kidney problem.

🐾 With proper care and treatment, he was able to recover fast and is now active , playful and handsome. Unfortunately, we cannot reach his furmom until now.

🐕 COCO will be AVAILABLE for ADOPTION if still not fetched by his owner on April 1, 2022.
