Sarcoptic mange or "Scabies" is a contagious skin condition caused by Sarcoptes sp. mite.
These mites burrow into skin causing

✅ Severe itching and hair loss
✅ Yellow crusts
✅ Skin rash and excoriations
✅ Follicular papules
✅ Secondary bacterial infections

Signs usually first appear on the ears, abdomen, armpits, elbows and hocks but can spread all over the body.
It affects dogs commonly but can spread to other animals and HUMANS as well.

If your pet shows symptoms consult your vet for proper diagnosis and treatment.
