๐FINALLY, A BETTER PLACE FOR THE RESCUES!
Our hearts speak volumes of gratitude to Sir Ernani Valdez, Ma'am Remy N., and Bicol University Student's Coalition for Culture and Arts for turning our vision of building a fenced area for our rescues PAWsible!
For the year bygone, our rescues were only leashed and caged in our foster place as we cannot afford to build a perimeter fence due to the humongous financial demands for foods and vet bills. Furthermore, we were only renting the place. No one from the AARA Board of Trustees, Board Members or Volunteers are living in the area and thus, we are afraid of building permanent structures only with the chance of being asked to vacate the place.
Our snappies salute then to Sir Ernani who made the structures removable in cases we have to leave. Isang araw niya rin lang ginawa ito. Solid, mula umaga hanggang ala sies ng gabi!๐ฅน Hats off to you Sir Nan! Likewise extending our immensed thanks to Maam Remy who financed the additional materials. Thank you for always being one of AARA, TAARA and SARA's lifebloods. Moreover, we are again expressing our indebted gratitude to BUCE Students' Coalition for Culture and Arts! Your Caroling for a Cause indeed served a good cause to our rescues! We are grateful beyond words. Truly, we are!
We would also like to take this opportunity to make it clear that AARA has no shelter. In order to avoid the confusion, we will call from now on the foster place as Rescues' Rehabilitation Area. This is where we rehabilitate the rescues' (dogs or cats saved in matter of life or death situations) while awaiting for their FURever PAWmily. So please, to everyone messaging us that they will surrender their dogs or cats, please know that our place cannot cater such and also, the last time we checked, surrending your furry-friends is a form of abandonement and yes, it's animal cruelty. Please know your facts.
