Veterinary Health Care Providers in Lipa
In our years of having cats as family pets, having to go to a Veterinary Healthcare provider is a must. From maintenance vaccination and shots, to treatments and emergency care. Here are the list of Healthcare providers we have been to and our bad experiences with them. Our recommended healthcare provider will be in another post. This is our experience, yours maybe different, and our experience naturally makes us not recommend these establishment. You can write your own to share yours.
1. Jurisvet
We have a bad experience with this veterinary health care provider. And our bad experience was so traumatic that everytime we are asked about Jurisvet, we always answer, we are not recommending this clinic. Our abyssinian had difficulty giving birth, we already noticed that something was wrong after giving birth to two kittens so we rushed her to Jurisvet. She was confined there and we were informed after a day that they need to sew out pets va**na since she kept on behaving like giving birth. A day after, they called again, our Abyssinian is already dead. Why? Apparently, a kitten was still inside her thats why she keeps on trying to get her out, and since the kitten already died inside, and that killed our cat. They did not even do an X-ray to find out what is wrong, they just sew close our cats va**na making it almost impossible for her to push out the dead kitten inside her.
2. Aby's
Recently, our russian Blue named Rudy developed UTI. We rushed it to Serbisyo Beterinaryo and confined him in the hospital. But since the hospital will undergo disinfection, and we cannot manage by ourselves a car with catheter and requiring extra care, the hospital helped us to transfer Rudy for awhile to Aby's. We transported our cat to Aby's. Their confinement cost is more expensive than Serbisyo's, (around 500pesos more I guess) but its OK for us thinking he will be getting good care anyways. So we left quite confident that Rudy will be in good hands. The following day is when our thinking of a better care was proven false. Rudy was placed in a small cage, not even suitable for his size and a cat with catheter. He cannot even eat well in that cramped cage. Worst is that his catheter is already removed apparently because Rudy was licking it to come off. Why? Because they removed his collar preventing him to lick it. Apparently they removed it to fees him. How come they did not even think as veterinarians that its a natural instinct for cats to lick any foreign object out of their body. And the fact that they only get to learn that the catheter is removed is when my partner visited Rudy and surprised and so disappointed on Rudys condition at that time. The veterinarian's comments were appalling. Pet owners will really get angry and furious if you see your pets like that. I called Abys and confronted the veterinarian and really expressed my anger, frustration and disappointed with how they gave care to our pet. Here are the statements of the Veterinarians that just shows they are not capable of taking care of pets and deal with pet owners
Veterinarian 1 -"Ibabalik na lang po namin ang catheter para wala ng mahabang usapan"
Veterinarian 2 -"Di naman namin mababantayan yan ng 24x7"
These are statements of the level of care they inherently built into their consciousness. If only we have a choice, we would have pulled him out of that dark place. I messaged the FB page of Aby's to raise my complaint, they have not responded.
