Marimo is a rare growth form of Aegagropila linnaei in which the algae grow into large green balls with a velvety appearance. The species can be found in a number of lakes and rivers in Japan and Northern Europe. Colonies of marimo balls are known to form in Japan and Iceland.🇯🇵🇮🇸

Bucephalandra is a genus of flowering plants in the family Araceae. There are 30 species of Bucephalandra which have been discovered in Borneo. Bucephalandra are usually found growing as dense mats over stones or rocks in streams or rivers in moist tropical forest. This is my emersed set up 🌺 Happy fish keeping. The Red Tiger Lotus (Nypmhaea Zenkeri) is an African stagnant water plant that is easy to keep and is widely used in aquariums. It has a medium growth speed in medium to strong light and can reach between 7-31 inches high and 9-23 inches wide. Beautiful piece of nature 😍 now available Nature's Paradox

Anubias Nana Pinto is a striking example of artificial selection. This variety is human made and created after many generations. Plants with stunning white-green patterns were selected and propagated throughout the years to create the Anubias Nana Pinto we see today. These patterns are caused by the lack of green pigments, chlorophyll, in certain areas of the leaf. The patterns are unique to every leaf and of every plant, with no two being the same.

Compared to other Anubias species, Anubias Nana Pinto does grow slower. Higher intensity light is recommended to keep Anubias Nana Pinto healthy and white. It is very important to avoid burying the rhizome when planting, as this can cause the rhizome to melt and the plant to die. Anubias do best grown attached to hardscapes, such as driftwood or rocks, with glue or string. 🌸
