Kelan nga ba maaaring sanayin ang mga kittens na gumamit ng litter box?

Sa mga unang linggo ng kanilang kapanganakan ay nililinis ng mga mother cats ang kanilang mga kittens sa pamamagitan ng magdila sa mga parte nito. Sa mga linggong iyon ay hindi pa kailangan ng mga kittens ang litter box.

Maaaring simulan ang pagsasanay sa mga kittens na gumamit ng litter box sa edad na apat na linggo. Ito ay kasabay ng panahon na ang mga kittens ay nagsisimulang mag-awat. Gumamit ng low-sided litter box para madali nila ito maakyat.

Kung sakali mang hindi nila ito gamitin ay subukang ilagay sila sa litter box hanggang sila ay masanay.
Kapag sila ay nasanay sa mga unang araw ay maaaring bigyan sila ng reward tulad ng kanilang favorite treats.
