According to the vet she has tetanus infection. As you can she’s almost completely paralyzed but still fighting. The owners were able to have her checked at a clinic in Concepcion, Naga and buy her meds but couldn’t afford to have her confined to be treated properly.

We are calling out the management of a certain leisure establishment along Diversion Road, Naga City for having the stray cats captured heartlessly. As seen in video, sinako ang mga pusa. Some potentially poisoned. There were even police at the time (?)
Yes, the strays tend to beg only because they need to survive. Not all are animal lovers but WE ALL could be a little more compassionate with homeless animals by not intentionally harming them and taking their lives.
Business establishments are taking it upon themselves to handle the strays in their vicinity —- unfortunately not in a humane way.
Animal welfare doesn’t only depend on pet lovers, but also the LGU, private sector, professionals, and the rest of the community.
Compassion and sense of responsibility and accountability is all it takes.

Cardo is currently confined at Pet Point Veterinary Clinic. He's diagnosed with HEARTWORM, ANAPLASMOSIS and ERLICHIA.

‼️‼️DOG SAVED FROM ABUSE AND CRUELTY‼️‼️
CARDO was saved from an abusive incident. He is now under the custody of Heart of Paws Naga, and was immediately brought to Naga's Veterinary Clinic.
This incident was reported to us by a concerned citizen from Brgy. Triangulo. He saw an incoming motorcycle and noticed that a dog was chained unto the vehicle. As the motorcycle passed by, the dog was dragged on the road that caused him wounds and bruises (in which you can see blood in the second photo).
He called for help and fortunately, PNP STATION 5 - NAGA CITY was on standby and immediately rescued the dog.
While waiting for our volunteers, PNP Station 5 made sure that Cardo is safe and sound with them.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude for the personnels and officers on duty at PNP STATION 5-NAGA CITY during the rescue operation and efforts they did to save Cardo. And also to the person who reported this matter to us and willingly helped to save Cardo from that abusive person.

Zab had difficulty in breathing and in need of immediate oxygen supply. We rushed him to Kho Veterinary Clinic at Concepcion, Naga City and admitted.
He's under observation; until now he's not eating because of too much dehydration and iron deficiency.
But this morning, he had water intake which is a good sign of progress.

SAVED FROM DEATH ROW 💔
Zab was the reported dog from Brgy. Sabang. According to the tanod, he was surrender by her owners due to his condition; he's only 4 years old.
We went to the said location but he's no longer there. 4 dogs were caught /surrendered from Brgy Sabang to Naga City Dog Pound.
Our volunteers went to City Pound and tested Zab for Canine Distemper Virus. Fortunately, the result was negative. He's brought to Pet Point Veterinary Clinic and admitted for confinement.
Diagnosis : Anemic, has a bacterial infection, possibly chronic, and anemia/iron deficiency due to malnutrition; possibility of parasitism

Stormi has a bacterial infection which causes her wounds to seem like "flesh-eating", wherein her nose and ears are slowly being eaten.
She's still confined at Naga's Veterinary Clinic and receiving the best treatment possible in order for her to recover.
She had undergone skin grafting procedure but unfortunately her body is rejecting it. But the attending vets are doing their best for Stormi, as she needs more time to heal.

It is with deep sadness to share with you that OREO crossed the rainbow bridge at 7PM May 22, 2022 💔
For his last moments, he felt the love and care he's been longing for he was assumed to be a stray dog. We fought with him, and he fought for his life in the last 6 days he was with us. We know that he's in better place, and in God's loving hands, there is no more pain. 🐾
We'd like to express our gratitude to all who donated and supported Oreo's vettings and treatment. Thank you to Sir Raul and Sir Jullius for being there with Oreo till his last breath. Thank you to Naga City Veterinary Office for admitting Oreo and giving the best treatment for him. We're also beyond grateful to all the volunteers of Heart of Paws, esp Ms Donnalizza, Sir Kenneth, Ms Khae, and Sir Yus who assisted and checked on Oreo's situation everyday and bringing all the supplies and recovery food he needed.
***We received a total of P9,749 under OREO's name. His total expenses is P6,642, in which there is a remainder of P3,107. We'd like to inform our dear donors that we'll be using the remainder for our active case : Bambi and Nica.
