This is a crucial heads-up for all dog owners in our area; leptospirosis is a grave bacterial infection that poses a risk not just to dogs but also to humans. This higly fatal disease is often spread through the urine of infected animals.
The health and safety of you and your pets are paramount to us. Henceforth, here are some preventive measures you can act on:
✅ Strongly consider getting your dog vaccinated against leptospirosis. It’s an effective measure to enhance their protection.

A month ago, Mashka was involved in an accident where she was hit by a car breaking her left foreleg. In that critical moment, without second thoughts, her fur-parents made a decision immediately to sign her consent for total leg amputation.
Thanks to the Metropaws Orthopedic Team —Dr. Grace Divina Nerona-Salmingo, the lead Surgeon and Dr. Erickson Capdos, the assistant Surgeon, alongside with our devoted veterinary therapists whose exceptional skill, unwavering dedication, and profound compassion played a vital role in Mashka’s recovery.
