Sir Richard was driving along Talavera road when he saw a little dog beside the hi-way. He checked the poor dog crying, pot-bellied and hungry. Then that’s the time he decided to adopt Syfer.

Kuddos to Sir Richard for doing a good deed. 👍🏻🙏🏻 God bless your pure heart, sir! 😊

Syfer was brought to the clinic for a check-up and deworming. Grow healthy and happy, cute dog! ♥️

Heat stroke in dogs

Pocho was brought to the clinic with signs of increased temperature, severe panting, and unable to stand on his own.

Assessment and laboratory were done and Pocho received immediate treatment. And after one day of confinement, he was discharged.

(Luckily, Pocho was brought to the clinic the minute his furparents saw him showing signs of heat stroke. Time is very vital in this kind of situatuon. Thank God Pocho survived the heat stroke! )

Just some reminder to avoid heat stroke:

-Avoid exercise ok warm and humid days
-Keep fresh cook water available at all times
-Don’t leave your dog inside the car on a warm day even if the windows are open
-When outside, opt for shady areas
-Certain types of dogs are more sensitive to heat, especially obese dogs and brachycephalic (short-nosed) breeds, like pugs and bulldogs. Use extreme caution when these dogs are exposed to heat

So again, to all furmoms and furdads out there, if you notice some signs of heat stress/stroke to your dog, do not hesitate to bring them to your veterinarian ASAP!
