Giardia spp.
Microscopic view of Giardia spp. .
A case of Giardiasis in a 3-month-old puppy named Golden. Presented in the clinic with a history of lethargy and watery diarrhea.
Giardiasis is the term for the disease caused by the infection, and, as in humans, the most common symptom is diarrhea. The parasite inhibits your dog's ability to properly absorb nutrients, water, and electrolytes, which leads to diarrhea and weight loss.

Moana's Road to recovery.
It's still parvo season... Moana already got 3 shots of 5-in-1 vaccine but still susceptible to parvovirus. Her difference from other parvo cases is that she has immunity to the virus because of the initial vaccines which helped her to recover in early stage of the infection and with proper medication.
