⚠️Coprophagia in Dogs⚠️
Is a practice that a dog consumes f***s. This is normal in some situations. Bi***es consume the f***s of her puppies as a practice of cleaning the nest as disease prevention. But for puppies, they go through oral stage in which they explore things through their mouth and ingesting non-food items including f***s.
✨Prevention
Anti-coprophagic formula (visit your vet), proper hygiene, walking the dog outside for defecation, changing dog's diet (high fiber), Lifestyle enrichment like walking and fetching , and teach the dog "LEAVE IT" command.

⚠️Notoedric Mange⚠️

Is a scaby, scaly skin disease cause by feline mites Notoedres cati which affects ears, face and can spread to the whole body. The presence of mites causes severe inflammation and intense itching to the affected cat.
✨Transmission:
Direct contact (cat to cat, dog, rabbits), environmental or things (toys, blanket, towels).
✨Diagnosis:
Skin scraping of crusty skin and viewed under microscope for the presence of mites and their eggs.
⚠️Zoonotic Risk
Can afftect Humans: causes itching, swelling and redness of skin
✔️Consult your Veterinarian for the Treatment needed.

⚠️Toxocariasis⚠️

Toxocara is a parasitic roundworm that can be found in the intestine of dogs and cats. The worms can irritate the intestinal wall and utilize some of the dog/cat nutrients. Affected animal shows a " pot-bellied" apperance, underweight and thin hair coat.
Heavy infestation causes anemia, vomiting, diarrhea, and constipation. Larvae travels to lungs, liver and muscles
🐶Transmission:
feca-oral, ingestion of intermediate host(mice and rabbit), in utero (placenta), suckling milk from infected bitch.
🐶Prevention:
Toxocara can be easily eliminated by prescription wormer for puppies, adult and nursing dogs.
