This is a newly rescued dog from Magdum, Tagum City. We named her Magda. She is severely dehydrated, anemic, weak, and can't even stand on her own. She was also bathed as she was covered in muck upon arrival. Upon testing, she was positive of the dreaded blood parasites BABESIA and EHRLICHIA. As her status is guarded, we are still hoping for a miracle.

‼️BUTITE: Another Case of Animal Negligence‼️
This babe was rescued along Seminary Drive, Tagum City, emaciated, malodorous and with cauliflower-like outgrowth on her v***a. Upon assessment, she is anemic (almost a candidate for blood transfusion), positive with EHRLICHIA and BABESIA and her tumor came out to be a TRANSMISSIBLE VENEREAL TUMOR (TVT), a sexually-transmitted disease in dogs.
Chemotherapy was immediately performed alongside her treatment with blood parasitism. She is already confined in the clinic for close monitoring and intravenous supplementation and therapy.
We are pleading for your well-wishes and prayers for this sweet girl as she hurdles her way towards recovery. You may also extend your financial help to her as well as the other rescued dogs in the shelter.

‼️NALA's GLOWING ITCH‼️
This kitten came in the clinic for a dermatologic check-up. Her condition started as a patch on the shoulder region about 5 weeks ago. Her owners were bothered as it progressed and multiplied to other parts of her body including the ears.
Tests were performed and it was diagnosed to be of fungal origin. A special lamp was used to see the distinct greenish fluorescence. She was prescribed with her antifungal meds and will be back for a follow-up check.

🐶😍ROCKY: A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE😍🐶
ROCKY's is a heartwarming case. He is a geriatric dog reported and rescued near Toyota Tagum City on Christmas Eve. He was tested positive with blood parasitism and Transmissible Venereal Tumor (TVT).
With a great determination to live, this fighter is now on his road to recovery. Despite his health issues, this adorable dog remains to be sweet and affectionate.
Let us send this boy our well wishes and our prayers as he hurdles his way towards full recovery. He is now happy living his life inside the shelter for rescued dogs.
JORDY's snobbish look after his 1st 7in1 shot🥰🐶
This timid pup came in the clinic with his summer get-up for castration (supposedly). Upon close inspection, Dr. Alix explained that he is too young for the procedure and that his balls are not fully developed yet (phew! you've been spared boi😅).
It was also found out that he hasn't had any history of vaccinations yet. The supposed castration procedure turned into a moment of needles. He will go home still intact and will be back for more of his vaccine sessions.

This 1 MONTH OLD newly acquired Husky was brought to the clinic for inappetence, weakness and diarrhea. Upon stool checking, no worm eggs found, neither any visible protozoa.
Upon further testing, it has been found out that this tiny pup is positive of PARVOVIRUS. Assisted feeding as well as close monitoring of the pup will be done together with her meds.
Commonly, puppies should receive their 1st shot of core vaccine at 6 weeks old as the maternal immunity from the mother usually declines at this age. On the other hand, if the mother lacks the appropriate antibodies, little to none will be passed on to the puppies and will subject the puppies more prone to infections at a very young age.
The SOLUTION? UPDATE THE CORE VACCINE of your dam‼️ Consult your trusted veterinarian on the proper health plans on your breeder dogs. These will ensure a healthy puppies coming ahead and will spare you from unwanted vet bills.

This is ESMI, a newly adopted aspin who came in for a general assessment. Her furmomma is afraid that she might be carrying parvovirus, and the likes so she was brought for a 3-way screening. Gladly, it turns out to be negative with Parvo, Coronavirus and Giardia. With so many fleas present, she was also administered with a spot-on for fleas,ticks and worms. She was also prescribed with immune booster as she will be subjected to close monitoring for 5 days at home, after which will go back for her 1st 5in1 vaccination.
Truly an amazing owner she has😍

Complete blood count (CBC) was also performed for evaluation of her blood parameters as part of her follow-up checks.

HERCULES the fantastic white Chihuahua visited the clinic for sudden lethargy and inapprtence. Upon blood testing, he was anemic with a low platelet count of 33 (normal is 117). Confirmatory test for blood parasite revealed that this boy has ANAPLASMOSIS, BABESIOSIS and EHRLICHIOSIS, all of which are tick-borne diseases. It just so amazing that a dog so small can contract 3 diseases at the same time🥺🥺
He is recuperating at home now with his meds and will be back after a week f9r his follow up CBC.

This adorable puppy was confined for contracting Parvovirus and Coronavirus. He was brought in the clinic lethargic, vomiting and having a watery diarrhea.
The battle has never been so easy for this little ROMEO as his condition was unstable. After a week of close monitoring, he was finally discharged and will be back home with his furry friends.

These adorable adopted cats came to the clinic for their viral screening as they were once stray cats. Unfortunately, one of them, LUCIO, tested positive of Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), a viral infevtion that resembles that of HIV in humans.
Immune boosters were advised to be given to them as maintenance as well as antibiotics for thise who have respiratory problems. They will be closely monitored and will be vaccinated to prevent them from contracting any common deadly diseases of cats.

Our fairy godmother who adopted him wanted him to be screened for any disease thay may be lurking inside him. Upon testing, we found out that he is positive of BABESIOSIS, a type of blood parasitism that can be acquired from ticks. Additionally, he was also positive of CANINE HEARTWORM, a kind of worm that differs from the common intestinal worms in which they are not killed by our regular dewormers and can be transmitted thru MOSQUITOES. Henyo has undergone 2 shots of ADULTICIDE to kill the adult worms inside him and is on his medications. He will be back after several months for this heartworm preventives. 📣📣ANSWERED PRAYER📣📣 Remember Rui the 6 month old Lab retriever who experienced XYLITOL TOXICITY? This is him after 9days from confinement. He has consistently showed improvements day by day. He was brought again to the clinic for his follow up blood tests and we are happy to say that he is recovering well. He also regained his appetite and is back to his usual self.
