A once in a lifetime update of the current state of affairs of the growhouses here at Shroomworks...

One of the most simple ways of preparing fresh oyster mushrooms is to turn them into crispy mushroom chips or "chicharooms" as they're affectionately known over here where I'm from.

Simply make a batter consisting of all-purpose flour or starch and eggs and coat the mushrooms evenly with the flour-egg batter. Then deep fry them in oil. Simplicity itself!

We’re officially sold out for today folks! What a great blessing this day turned out to be. From the humble yield we were able to harvest from the growhouse to the pending harvest scheduled (hopefully) by tomorrow! I can’t help but be thankful yet again for everyone’s support as well as God’s constant guidance for making this possible!

I was already very thankful for the morning harvest. But upon inspecting the grow house for a second time, I was very amazed to see that there were even more mushrooms in full bloom directly beside the other bags that I harvested just this morning! I can’t help but feel even more blessed and thankful!

Update: Both sets of the mushrooms have already been sold to our very enthusiastic customers!

The January 1, 2021 harvest!🍄🍄🍄

I can’t help but say that the start of the year is turning out to be one heck of a good one! We’ll be processing these ones within the day so expect an update to this post regarding the total weight of our haul from today’s harvest!
