It’s always a pleasure to work with people that care for cats and help with local rescue efforts!!! Please adopt!

We had a purr-tastic time meeting all our amazing fosterers at our first Meet & Greet series for the year hosted by Shangri-Paw Singapore cat hotel! 🐾

Fostering is crucial for rescuing street cats and kittens, providing them with loving temporary homes and a chance for a better life. It was wonderful to meet our dedicated fosterers in person, share stories, and network.

Here's to our fabulous LUNI Singapore foster family and many more successful rescues ahead! 🐱❤️

Featured are Mew Mew and Princess who are just back for their first stay and Yuri, our sweet, palliative care cat. Further you can see Smokie and Jelly who are now back for what must be their 6th or 7th stay since November and Siah Mong, one of our fluffy favourites and UNO, the one eyed kitty who went off to Abu Dhabi after 2 months with us. And who can forget about Pepper, her kids, Leo and Mr. Meow, Project LUNI's cats who luckily all have found homes since filming took place - but of course we have new rescue guests as well looking for homes (check out Tortilla & Salsa as well as adorable Mocha on our IG!)🐈

Have you always wanted to work with cats 🐈 but don't mind scooping lots of 💩 and cleaning their rooms in return for a lot of cuddles? Shangri-Paw is looking for detail-oriented and compassionate part-time/freelance cat concierges.

REQUIREMENTS:
✨ experienced with cat care and love for cats
✨ meticulous, organised and detail oriented
✨ able to work two to three 3-4 hours shifts per weeks (usually same day, same time)
✨ willingness to learn and implement fear free approach
✨ good English written communication skills
✨ local or PR (ONE Pass DP holders can be considered)

JOB SCOPE:
🧹 keeping our hotel and the cat rooms s**c and span
🐈 cat care such as brushing, playing, cleaning ears/face, nail trimming
🐟 serving cats their daily meals according to schedule
❤️‍🩹 pilling cats and administering medications (for experienced staff such as vet nurses)
📲 communicating updates with team members and cat owners

We also added some very practical IKEA shelving units, which can help you in the lower areas... they even can be arranged in stair patterns and be multifunctional - either for your books or a nook for your kitty! 🐱

How cute is Penny coming through our door? 💖

At Shangri-Paw Cat Hotel, we have a total of 4 rooms that can be connected to a second room for added comfort or to accommodate 3-4 cats together!

Penny and brother Ham were a bit scared in her big luxury suite facing the road, so we decided to open up the fairy door to another small and quiet room! We think they definitely appreciated having the option to either watch outside or find a quite resting spot! 💖

The difference a day makes! 😺

It can be daunting to leave your babies in a cat hotel for the first time! Ham and Penny's mom was so worried when she left them - Penny withdrew into a corner and Ham just became a "turtle" under his fluffy bed 🥺

We gave them time, assurance but left them mostly alone... and already during the night saw on CCTV how they ventured out and explored their room 😻

The next day, they were still a tiny bit unsure but in the course of the day did a total 180! Both became absoute cuddle monsters, following us around, headbutting, Ham was giving kissed, purrs and belly flops and wanted to get out of the room to explore and normally shy Penny interacted and headbutted all our staff and trustigly put her head into our hands!💖

They only stayed 2 nights but their mom picked up two happy and relaxed cats that had totally settled in!

We hope seeing this gives other pet parents the assurance that their cats WILL be able to settle in, even if it feels horrible to leave them here for their stay at first! We send daily updates and you can see their progress, too 😻
