Ugh how is this baby almost 2 already?? Almost 1 year 10 months now!!! I don't talk about it much but I struggle with her everyday lol. Is this what it feels like to have a smart dog??? Mango, Yuzu and even Goma are relatively easy to manage but this girl is just... Don't know to laugh or cry because of her brains.

Brought Melon to the beach yesterday with Olive and Marley . Left the other 2 at home to concentrate on swimming with this girl. Totally loved it as she had her attention on me like 90% of the time. Reactivity was super low at the beach even with so many dogs. Only barked at a husky that kept stalking her. She swam so much! I love how she enjoys swimming so much but requires me to be in the water lol. Will not enter on her own, just like how Mango was last time π₯Ή
I don't post that much these days (and not much about her puppy days) but I feel like I should at least note this down because I finally have a dog who loves water! (Sometimes a bit too much lol she plays with water in the toilets at home π)
Anyway say goodbye to Mango's clownfish life jacket and Olive's camo life jacket cos we left them at the beach's shower station π time to buy a new one

Suddenly remembered this crazy ass picnic set up. 5am to pick everyone up and set up at 7am in the park π€£π€£π€£ NEVER AGAIN
Spent the weekend at the gathering! We tried to take a group photo, we tried. π€£π€£ I was mostly in a corner/room hiding away because I wasn't feeling very well and could leave my dogs in the trusted good hands of the others (esp ganma) while I try not to die.
Thankful for this super precious family we gained through Melon (thankew ). I'm no longer coherent but yes yes thank you everyone I love you guys why is everyone so nice π₯Ή gdll. (Maybe I'll tag everyone when I can remember lol please pardon me)

Had a Christmas party at home last Sat with some friends and glad everyone enjoyed it! The puppers all had some fun socialising with each other (when we know they're okay with each other) so it was a pretty chill gathering where we had a ton of food (Potluck!) with a lot of chitchat. Love it when my friends can all gel together π«°πΌ

Totally forgot to upload this: gathering back in mid November. It was a crazy weekend and the weather didn't help at all. Ended up late and missed the group photo lol. Anyway here's Melon and her almost identical brother .eli hehe. The Maplehaven family is growing! And we need a bigger location next time to host π€£ thanks for the space!

This 1 year has felt incredibly long yet crazy short. "The days are long, but the years are short" is so incredibly true. I still hate the growing/training phase because you're such a strong-willed, opinionated, brave (and sometimes, not) and smart dog that I don't really know what to do with you. Mango and Yuzu that I adopted as adults were so much easier lol. Can you please calm down and tone down the crazy soon?
Anyway, hope I didn't fail you too much as your owner. /paranoid

This came today! How apt cos it's Mother's Day. I wasn't expecting to receive any parcels so I was a little shocked when I saw it. Couldn't remember what I actually ordered that's so big until I opened the packaging wrapped around the box. I was totally okay during the whole unboxing but what did me in was when I hugged the plush at the end. Totally felt like Mango was in my arms. I have to say it's not 100% and there was a lot of back and forth until at some point I even forgot about my order. But all is good! I guess since I can't have the real thing anymore, this plush is good enough. Although.... Gender reveal of Melon π€£ It's a long story but I didn't mind a male or female, so they hid the gender of the puppies from me until the day we went to meet them. And they were all diapered π€£ Godmas @codyolivebankstheshelties and @crystalthesheltie__rubythemutt kept everything under wraps, together with @_wafflesthesheltie. We had a mini gender reveal party that evening π€£ my friends are hilarious. I guess it's not something you get to do everyday π
