Samsung ตรวจพบเชื้อ ไวรัสลิวคีเมียในแมว (FeLV) ซึ่งเป็นไวรัสที่สามารถส่งผลต่อระบบภูมิคุ้มกันของแมว แต่ ไม่สามารถติดต่อสู่คนหรือสุนัขได้ และสามารถแพร่ระหว่างแมวด้วยกัน ดังนั้น Samsung จึงต้องการบ้านที่เหมาะสม เช่น เป็นแมวตัวเดียวในบ้าน หรืออยู่ร่วมกับแมวที่มีเชื้อ FeLV เช่นเดียวกันอย่างปลอดภัย
ข่าวดีคือ แมวบางตัวสามารถกำจัดหรือควบคุมเชื้อไวรัสได้เอง ดังนั้นการตรวจพบเชื้อในครั้งนี้ไม่ได้หมายความว่า Samsung จะต้องป่วยในอนาคตเสมอไป ทาง Lanta Animal Welfare จะช่วยดูแลและติดตามผลตรวจของเธอในอนาคต

Meet Samsung, a beautiful little girl who is vaccinated, neutered and ready to find her forever home.
Samsung has tested positive for feline leukaemia virus (FeLV). This is a virus that can affect a cat’s immune system, but it cannot be passed to people or dogs. It can spread between cats, so Samsung needs a special home where she can be the only cat or live safely with other FeLV-positive cats.
There is also some good news — some cats can clear or control the virus, so a positive test does not necessarily mean Samsung will become sick. Lanta Animal Welfare will support her with future testing to monitor her status.
What Samsung needs most is a loving home where she can be safe, happy and very much part of the family. ❤️
