And again about allergies!
I meet a lot of information in the information space that naked Xolo are dogs that are best suited for allergy sufferers, etc...
I don't know where this information comes from, but recently I was approached by a young couple who had been dreaming of a Xolo puppy for a long time.
They immediately warned me that the man was allergic to "hair", and so they chose a hairless xolo as the only possible option.
Well, I didn't want to traumatize the puppy by moving here and there, so I advised him to have allergy tests done.
This allergy to "wool" is very doubtful. I was sure that the allergen was animal secretions.
Of course, I was right.
The allergen was urine.
The family was very upset, as they had been preparing for the arrival of little Xolo in the house for a long time.
I can only imagine how their lives would have changed with my husband's choking attacks, coughs and constant sneezing if I had followed through and given them the dog.
It would have become a burden and sooner or later the puppy would have suffered and had to be rehomed.
After our research, we can say with certainty that the absence of hair in Xolo does not make them completely hypoallergenic animals, but only reduces the amount of allergen spread in the air.
There are no exceptions.
It is important to know this because there are no hypoallergenic dogs.
