🩷 Maizy is a spunky girl who is very curious of the world around her. She loves to play with crinkle toys and run around the house at lightening speeds (anything that works up her appetite: she loves her foodies).

💙 Boots is a fun loving and excitable boy who finds every nook and cranny to explore! He loves to play with plush toys (or anything his sister has) and is vocal when he wants something!

A year ago we lost our first Bully, Steel. He ran off on January 7th- which was very unlike him. He was a daddy’s boy at heart (though he loved his mama) and usually did not leave our side. After getting loose, he ran around our shop and by the time we got around it he was gone- disappearing as though into thin air. We called local shelters, put out missing posters, placed clothes and food outside, followed every potential lead, etc. with no luck. We had amazing people who we didn’t know helping us- which was truly heartwarming. To this day it doesn’t feel right not having him around. He made us fall in love with the breed, and sparked our interest in producing and raising American Bullies. He had a one of a kind personality that everyone fell in love with despite him being a misunderstood breed. He had gone all over the east coast with us, including moving from South Carolina to Indiana in September of 2021. It is the unknown that haunts us- we have hope that one day he might return to us, but RIP Steel if that’s the fate he met. He is very missed, and will always be loved.

Happy birthday to Detweiler’s Kennels’ very own Denali! This big girl has a personality bigger than her body; she is such a goofball! She’s a couch potato most of her days, but she loves to swim (with her life vest on 😂), travel, and ultimately be anywhere her dad is. She has brought so much joy to us and those that have met her, and we can’t wait for what the future has in store! ❤️

Happy New Year!! 🎊

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 🎆 Hoping for a fabulous new year! Here’s to past memories and future memories yet to come! Welcome 2024!

Our first Puppy Culture litter! After apt research, we have decided to add this protocol to our kennel. We are so excited to, not only produce happy and healthy puppies, but to send them off into the world equipped with the ability and knowledge to overcome any situation presented to them. 💪🏻 Here we are doing Early Neurological stimulation (ENS). This is performed between day 3 and day 16 of the puppy’s life. Research shows that this protocol can give a puppy’s neurological system a head start- improving function later in life. We are still learning, as this is the first litter implementing the protocol, but we are so excited. 😊 Can’t wait to see the difference this brings to our puppies lives!

We made progress on our kennels this weekend! 🐾 Super pleased with the outcome so far, but there is more to do! Stay tuned for updates! 🤍 PS: Kennels are used as a safe and comfortable staycation for our dogs when we are away.

Frenchie at FastCAT! 🏁 Paris had a blast at K9 Splash Zone for her first outing chasing the lure. She participated in 2 fun runs as she is too young to compete. We are hooked, and will definitely be going back for more. Excuse my screaming in the video- such a proud mama here! 🙈😂

Nova is back in the pack for the first time this morning! 😍 Enjoying a little time to herself in the sun. Mama life!

We welcomed 10 beautiful puppies into the world last night! 😍 Nova did amazing! There are 3 boys and 7 girls - 3 black males, 1 red female, 2 fawn females, 1 black female and 3 blue females. These pups are selling double registered- ICBR and ABA. We love puppy life! ❤️
