Rose and Cookie made an awfully unique traveling pair today. Thanks to for taking such good care of them -- including a sleepover thanks to the snowstorm! (But Ella in particular will be beyond glad to have her sweet Cookie home again. A bond like theirs is hard to replicate...)

We're placing an order of AOHC merch in time for the winter break -- and it's pretty fantastic stuff. Some favorites from last year, more choices for kids and adults, stickers for water bottles and other non-clothing options, and (of course) brand new socks! What a close race... It came down to a nose with a photo finish between some important battleground stalls. Turnout was strong, and I'm happy to report that 11 different equines had support -- and that our new Pony President is the type who is always willing to reach across the aisle. Please congratulate COOKIE!

Election Day is coming. Don’t forget to vote… for Pony President! Vote in person or cast your ballot on line. Early voting encouraged! One person, one vote. Name the equine you think should be president!

Kids can't vote in the election ... but they can vote to spend time with our amazing ponies! We still have a couple spaces in our half-day program next Tuesday. This unmounted (no riding) program is always a blast, and participants can stay til 1pm for lunch (pizza for us, hay for the ponies) for an additional $25. Reach out if you're interested, or sign up through AB Community Ed.

We had a last-minute request for barn time before school starts next week, and we can't resist having our friends visit -- so here we go! One of our volunteers (spoiler alert: Abigail's kid, who grew up learning from Kelly!) had a pretty fantastic weekend. Hard work pays off, and so does taking great care of your pony.

AJ Korka and her 19-year-old Thoroughbred gelding (High Yield x Prosper) are this week's featured pair! This dynamic duo won their Junior Novice division at the Ocala International Festival of Eventing this past weekend on a low score of 19 🤩

AJ shared the following: "I’m so proud of Sully, and he tried his heart out all weekend. Ocala was his second Novice ever and mine as well. It was incredible to see all our hard work pay off in the dressage with a personal best of 18.6! Even at 19 years young and after a solid racing career, he is still ready for more. Thank you so much to Denise Goyea and Meredith Scarlet for everything they’ve done for us. So excited to see where the rest of the season takes us after we head back home to Area I!"
