Mrs Charlotte's grooming today. She was a absolute sweet girl. This was her 1st official grooming appt and so we worked at her pace and just made small adjustments to her coat. I am in love with her!

Sad news for those in the Macedonia area as the Macedonia Veterinary Clinic has shut it's doors permanently last week leaving the community to have to find a new veterinarian. If you are in need of a new one and are unsure, reach out and we can discuss, I know some great clinics in the area.

Does your dog's nose turn a different color in the winter?

Snow nose or winter nose is very common. They lose pigment in the winter months. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about. There are many speculations as to why this occurs. Some think it's the change in daylight or the temperature of where you live.

So many of our pets are over weight. Daily exercise and a good diet with appropriate amounts of food is a great start.

Some pets have health conditions like an under active thyroid issue that causes them to put on weight.

Pet food companies place the suggested feeding amounts on their bags to sell more food. The suggestions they place are usually for a high active dog that would need those calories.

For example: huskies pulling sleds as a job would need a higher calorie intake, but the house husky that goes on walks, plays in the yard and lays around would need less calories.

If you have any questions I do pet consultations and will always tell you to reach out to your veterinarian if you think the weight is due to a medical problem!

These are handcrafted and made to order. Can take up to 4 weeks to receive.

You will need to send me your pets items to place inside. A tablespoon of ashes is what is about needed if you would like to have those places inside as well.

Do you know the importance of a trained pet?
Training teaches boundaries and allows them to use their brains. High energy dogs like huskies, blue heelers, shepherds, Labrador, and etc get board and destructive if not mentally stimulated. Training allows them to use their brains for the better. Training also give you a better dog to enjoy and helps keep them safe.

Basic obedience is a huge part of successful pets and owners.

Order filling some Pet ID tags..these tags take around 3 to 4 days to complete depending on the colors chosen.
Keep in mind when picking a style the amount of room for your pets name. Some only have room for a letter.
Can take 4 to 6 weeks for delivery due to cutting time and where you are located and the amount of orders I have.

I will miss you Riley! You have grown in your training! You have graduated from the training class! 💕

Teaching my son low stress handling for cat grooming. He was able to learn how to shave/groom a cat without stressing him out. Shaving cats can be a hard choice to make. Health, age, arthritis, and being over weight can be a few reasons to shave a cat. If you have any questions regarding cat grooming give me a call. I do offer cat grooming. They must be current on their rabies vaccines.
