My 3 best colonies. Spent the last 1 1/2 hours setting them back up. 30+ stings is a record for me lol 😂 They got up in my jacket & veil & stung my face, neck, back, stomach, butt, legs, all over my arms & hands through the gloves. They just doing what God made them to do & defend their home. 80% of Crops pollinated by HoneyBees

2 Row of Corn equaling 57 stalks, 2 row of Watermelon 1 of Red, 1 of Yellow & 1 row of Cantaloupe. Peach tree, Lots of Sunflower seeds🌻planted, 13 HoneyBee colonies! Had only 3 a few months ago! We are in a come back nectar flow from last year. We are believing for 30 gallons of Liquid Gold aka Honey🍯Isaiah 7:22!! 🍯🐝God✝️🕊️❤️‍🔥& Creation🌱🌽🍉🍈Harvest🌾

We started a raised garden this summer. Red/Yellow watermelons & Canteluope. Everything started late bc of the frosts & rains in the spring so we didn’t get any Honey this year. Honey production was bad for surrounding states too. But our Honeybees pollinated our garden! Today there was still watermelons on the vine the size of a soccer ball The biggest watermelon we just ate this afternoon which is the one from the pictures below. We got seeds for next year!

In the biggest case of food fraud in U.S. history the dept of Justice found massive amounts of honey in American stores (76%) are full of high fructose corn syrup. Buy real honey locally🍯Check labels for Alabama Honey. Not found in grocery stores except some Publix has local Alabama Honey. Even some of that is resold from sketchy sources. HIT THE FARMERS MARKETS✅🍯sams, target, costco, walmart etc.👎To name a few, corn syrup increases risk of heart disease, fatty liver, obesity, diabetes, cancer, harmful to your cells & inflammation. No nutrients in corn syrup🍯🐝🖤💛

Caught my first swarm this afternoon in the 2 years I’ve been a beekeeper! I proudly took 7 stings getting this swarm. They hit both legs, both arms, neck, stomach & rib cage😎Free bees vs 200$ for a 5 frame starter colony! A swarm is how honeybees reproduce in nature. They take 60% of the colony & tell the Queen let’s go start a new colony in a new home. The ones left behind raise a new queen & keep on buzzin🍯🐝🖤💛Cool fact- Honey is mentioned 61 times in bible pointing to the beginning of Jesus public ministry (Isaiah 61) 2nd Peter has 61 verses, it’s about continuing to mature in Christ✝️🙌Honey means many things biblically! Scripture, Wisdom, Discernment of good & evil, Glory weighty presence, abundance, prosperity, vision, strength… Taste & see the Lord is Good🍯🍯🍯🍯🍯🍯🍯

Ethan & I won 3rd Place at The Alabama Beekeeper Association’s Welch Honey Show! It’s a very strict judging process. We were the only ones who submitted an original Honey Jar Label design but had 2 things they counted off for. No metric weight listed & wrong weight for the 2lb jar. We only made 16oz labels but We’re going for 1st place next year. They also realized from our entry they need to change to Alabama rules instead of Georgia rules they judged Us on! So Thankful for God, My precious Son, & My amazing Bee Mom Mrs.Allyson Andrews Andrews 🍯🐝🖤💛🙏✝️🌈

Explanation of our 16oz Honey Prices-🍯🐝💛🖤I’ve seen prices from 10$ to low 20s. Looks like the average is 15$ I feel beekeepers are selling themselves short or they aren’t a small operation like me & can afford to give it away at these prices. People invest in what they value… 6$ every morning at Starbucks is normal to many. There are expensive costs in beekeeping, but again people invest in what they value. Honey is worth at least 1$ per ounce. That’s 16$ Our labels are just under 1$ per unit. Our jars are just over 1$ each. That’s 18$ We want to give to the Church 10% So at 20$ minus 10% is 18$ so especially in the beginning years We aren’t even turning a profit, just getting our money back at best!

😕 This was our first as well as our strongest colony when we started our Beekeping journey in March 2021! We still have 2 of the 3 splits from it so not too sad. Small hive beetles are 1 of 2 major pests that beekeepers have to look out for & maintain I.P.M. (Integrated pest mgmt.) May 20 was World Bee Day😎🍯🐝💛🖤

This is the Swarm cell I mentioned 2 videos back on doing 2 splits! It really does look like a peanut!
Swarms are Honeybees way of reproducing themselves & their vital presence on earth! Nearly 70% of our food is made available by bees! But they swarm as a collective decision made by the worker bees (all the female honeybees) They are a super organism & every decision made is by the whole for the sake of the whole! They lay down their life for their purpose both individually & collectively! That’s so Kingdom of Heaven! So when they swarm they take up to 60% of the colony with them to find a new home to start a new colony. Those that remain at the old Hive raise a new queen & carry on.

Good afternoon guys! We will be going (((LIVE))) around 4pm today. So stay tuned! If You remember, We installed a package of Honeybees on March 7th 2022. That was a wooden crate of un-related Honeybees with a queen. Today We will be installing a “Nuc” or Nucleus Hive which is a newly established colony on its way to rapid growth! A Nuc comes with 5 frames in a plastic box. Typically has 3 frames of brood (growing ba-bees) as well as 2 frames of resources & Honey. I will update ASAP on the start time! Hey Hey Family, Friends, & Followers! One of the ways we take care of our Honeybees & make a lot less work for them is by feeding them sugar syrup!
During Spring & Summer we feed them 1:1
Example in pictures is 25lbs of sugar & 25lbs of water mixed together, don’t believe it fits in 5 gallon bucket? believe it😎 During the Fall & Winter we feed them 2:1 so that would be 50lbs of sugar & 25lbs of water. 5 gallons would fill 10 half gallon jars
1 jar for each colony. Lasts anywhere from a day to a week just depends on what they need. For us it’s usually 5 days then we make more. 🍯🐝💛🖤
