There is a respiratory illness in dogs going around. This notice was sent to me by my reproductive vets office.
We are aware that a growing number of places are reporting dogs with varying degrees of respiratory illness. Currently, we recommend you schedule an appointment if your pet is showing any respiratory signs such as coughing or a change in breathing. When you arrive, please call but do not enter the clinic until we tell you. Our doctors will do an exam and likely recommend additional diagnostics such as bloodwork, chest films and possibly testing for infectious organisms. If at any point you feel your pet is in respiratory distress, we recommend you go to MSU or GLVC.

We encourage all animals that board, show, attend daycare, and visit grooming facilities to stay up to date on DHLPP, Bordetella and CIV (Canine Influenza Vaccine).

"BOURBON" Beautiful wirehair coat, no mess no fuss, wash towel dry. Excellent disposition and temperament. Most importantly, healthily. passed all testing with flying colors. Excellent hips. Bourbon is a River and Echo son. Filling in his Daddy's footsteps. Such a tall order to fill and Bourbon is surpassing all our expectations of him.

Spaying/Neutering your puppy too early DOES indeed negatively affect the dog physically & mentally... (you're literally stopping hormone production that is responsible for brain development, bone/ligament/muscle development, etc.)

I don't care what your local shelter/ rescue or even your veterinarian has told you...

((this has been scientifically proven--- do your own research! -- especially before you bring home that 8-12 week old puppy from the shelter/rescue//etc))

✨️✨️✨️🗣🗣it is 🚫NOT safe🚫( or smart) to pediatric spay/neuter and absolutely alters your dogs growth BOTH physically & mentally .... 🗣🗣✨️✨️

Remember this before you want to remove crucial hormones that the animals require to grow properly...

It is highly recommended to wait until TWO years of age to spay/neuter (unless it's considered medically necessary -to be life saving only- ie: pyometria, prolapse, etc. ))
