So this is Nash, not wanting to be caught. Right before his blow up at the rail. Nash used to be the easiest horse to catch. He would run to the fence put his head over the gait to be haltered.
Then I sent him away for 30 days of training to him ready for extreme trail challenges. He hated it there. He didn't do well for the trainer and came home worse than when I took him. He has been hard to catch every since. πͺ
We have gone back to the ground, doing groundwork. We have gone to 3 day clinics, horse shows, parades. Trailrode all over.
I have had vet check him, teeth floated, massage, red light therapy.
And all kinds of therapys.
I love this horse but he has hurt me 3 times in the last year. 2 broken lumbar, knocked unconscious and this time ankle trashed.
I am running out of ideas.
We have to earn eachothers trust back. When I came home from the hospital he nuzzled me and pulled me in for a hug. I know he loves me. πͺπͺπͺ
I am open to positive advise. No drama please.
