Note to other breeders... "Kathy Bellybutton" seems to be.... Well, I'm not sure what I'd call her.... or whoever runs that profile.... But CLEARLY someone that can't afford to care for a dog..... considering she feels 1500 is TOO MUCH for a Dachshund puppy. So breeders.... KNOW YOUR WORTH!!!!! AND DONT CAVE TO THE CHEAP!!!!

Well it seems we will be getting out of breeding. Seems people only want CHEAP DOGS!!! Not QUALITY DOGS!!! This breed was divided for a reason... long-haired, short-haired, and wire-haired....But now some breeders feel they know more and are better fitted to make these decisions... Very sad to see the breed GOING BACKWARDS!!!! We had our breeders tested for PRA/IVDD.... Our stud is a RING PROVEN AKC CHAMPION... and fit the ACTUAL AKC guidelines for MINI DACHSHUNDS.... UNDER 11LBS.... Not 12... not 15.... but 11 and UNDER..... But that really isn't what people want..... THEY JUST WANT CHEAP!!!!!! AT CJ'S MINI DACHSIE'S WE DONT DO CHEAP!!! WE DO QUALITY!!! We want to THANK those of you that know the difference!!!! We appreciate your love for the breed and wish you all the best...

Puppy butts drive me nuts!!!! I can't believe no one has called on these lil gems... Missing the best part of puppyhood. This lil' girl got her first taste of POPCORN today.... SHE'S ADDICTED!!!

VERY SAD!!! But some breeders are NOTHING MORE than puppy mills... no matter the size!!! Taking AKC dogs and turning them into MUTTS!!! I CAN THINK OF A COUPLE!!!!

Everyone please give a warm welcome to this very timid and scared girl we have named Clementine.

She has a damaged eyelid from another dog she lived with, as well as a wound on her hip. She just had a litter and we hope to spay her soon as well as fix her cherry eye (which is a result of her damaged eye lid). When she has recovered from that she will get a much needed dental. Next week she also goes to our ophthalmologist to further assess her eye.

Clementine is all the justification we need to advocate for amateur and backyard breeders to be shut down. If you would like to donate to her care it would be much appreciated as we have one more dog we saved also in rough shape we will be announcing soon.

Well it's clear. We will be getting out of breeding this incredible breed!!! SEEMS NOBODY truly gives a f**k about the breed!!! Just what they can do to GO BACKWARDS for the breed!!! The AKC has divided the breed for a reason!!!! SO..... If you are breeding longhaired and short-haired dogs because YOU THINK it's cool..... OR.... because others want them???? APPARENTLY YOU ARE BETTER THAN THE AKC!!!! Breeding dogs that are CLEARLY over 12lbs.... And calling them MINIS??? OR CROSSING COATS AGAIN??? TO ME, YOU ARE BREEDING MUTTS!!!! That being said, CJ'S CAN'T COMPETE WITH THAT S**T!!! WE ARE NOW DONE!!!! Hope all of you the best!!!! DESTROYING A BREED SOME OF US LOVE!!!!!

Well, as time goes on.... These girls are finding a home right here... It seems there is NO INTEREST in our girls, EXCEPT OURS.... It seems we may just keep them ourselves... Thanks for all of you that have watched them grow.... But maybe it's time for us to just bite the bullet and keep another TWO.... One nice thing about it..... I KNOW THE BREEDERS ROCK!!!! AND THE PUPS ARE PERFECTLY HEALTHY..... Thanks again for your interest.....

If them bellies don't tug on some heart strings..... I don't know what will.... Already pushing 5 weeks old... and growing like weeds... Today's breakfast consisted of DRY KIBBLE.... Followed by some water out of their own bowl... Then just for the fun of it.... a bit of warm Petlac... BINGO!!!! On their way to FREEDOM!!! They hate being left on the floor alone.... When everybody else is on the couch.... So their uncle's RETREAT to the bedroom to hide from them... lol.... I JUST LOVE THIS BREED!!!
