Thrive Equestrian is hiring a new team member!
Located in Milton GA
10-15 horses (currently 13)
Beautiful facility with kind clients! Smaller eventing program with a strong focus on dressage. Positive and encouraging environment with clear expectations. Great place to learn and work without getting yelled at, manipulated, or taken advantage of.
I am in search of full time employee Monday-Saturday but would also entertain multiple part time positions.
General barn management- including but not limited to:
Feed
Clean stalls
Fill hay and water
Turn out/Bring in
Tidy barn
Will discuss more details to interested parties.
Compensation-
-Starting at $120 a day, more $ for grooming/tacking help, tack cleaning, and yard maintenance. Pay by day or shift, you get paid every other Saturday. Raises also available for hard workers!
-Can provide housing on site 1 bedroom apartment with utilities and WiFi provided. Housing prioritized for full time worker
-Can negotiate board for one horse, lessons, and showing opportunities.
-PTO if you work 5 days a week
Requirements-
-pass a background check(I have small children plus lesson kids and teenagers are constantly at the barn)
-positive and professional attitude
-the ability to show up when it’s raining, cold, or hot (ie RELIABILITY)
-previous equine experience
-ability to lift and move 50+lbs multiple times a day
This job can be as involved as you want. Just feed/turnout do basic barn chores, or also do grooming/tacking/cool down horses, do extra management tasks, take lessons go to shows and clinics etc. Can discuss more in person. Happy to have just someone looking for work but would really love someone looking to learn equestrian business and advance their skills.
