We are taking deposits and plan to have a litter of Golden Retrievers this fall! As of right now, we are only planning one litter unless we have several wanting puppies this fall, we will consider a second litter. Otherwise, it will probably be spring before we have another litter due!

This little guy (Black Collar) found his forever family yesterday! He is the last Golden Retriever puppy we had available in his litter. If you are interested in a puppy will have another litter this fall.

I apologize for being slow responding to messages this last week. I’ve been dealing with Kylie’s foot pain. She woke up in the middle of the night in pain and it felt like her foot was broken. If I haven’t responded to you, I will finish going through the messages tomorrow and get back to you!

Kylie has been a trooper the last week while they ruled out nerve damage and compartment syndrome, after the ER at Children’s dropped the ball as a bad sprain. Today, we found out from her pediatric orthopedic doctor that she has a very bad stress fracture of the Talus in her foot (the bone that controls movement of the foot) along with irritation of the heal (he thinks this was caused from walking different to compensate for the pain in her foot). This week she had an EMG on her foot, leg and back (and I’m one of those moms that waited until she was in the room to let her know they would be shocking her and sticking a needle in her muscles). The EMG doctor believed she had partial blockage of blood flow to her leg, but with the quick reaction from one of her doctors, they corrected the issue. He was impressed with how much improvement she has in a week. He believes there was an injury to the peroneal nerve, but doesn’t think it was damaged. She’s in a boot for 4 weeks and out of activities for 6 weeks. They will X-ray again in 4 weeks and decide from there.

I didn’t get this posted the other day, but this little guy Tito (red collar) has a family! His new momma will be graduating college from Nashville and he will live in Mattoon for 6-8 weeks before they move to Colorado, if I remember correctly.
