YES!!! It's not everyday our team has a visitor such as this... meet "General" a 10yr old tortoise! General's owners brought him in to check for bladder stones. An xray was completed and he was given a clean bill of health. Kudos to General for snoozing instead of hissing, scratching, or biting during his visit! 🐢💙

👋👋👋UPDATE: After checking on our surrounding counties road conditions... We have decided for everyone's safety it is best to remain closed for the day. 🥶❄️Hypothermia in dogs and cats can be dangerous! The normal body temperature for dogs and cats is 99.5° to 102.5° F. Hypothermia occurs when a pet loses body heat and their body temperature drops too low. A pet's cold tolerance varies based on their coat, age, body fat, breed, activity level, and overall health. Watching your best friend closely during frigid temps is the best way to keep them safe! 💓🐾

Pay extra close attention to those pets who are outside. Make sure they have appropriate shelter, bedding, food, and fresh water. If possible bring them inside for some extra cuddles! 🐾💕
