Hi,

There are 10 puppies total, five males and five females, born June 19th. The mom is my own dog. She is a hound mix and about 47 pounds. The dad is an Australian Shepherd and about 70 pounds. So fully grown the puppies will be probably in between 45 and 70 pounds. They probably will be very active and intelligent dogs.

They are being reared on mom‘s milk and will be transitioned to raw food immediately without any commercial highly processed foods being fed. I am exposing them to low levels of stress, so-called puppy exercises, and will expose them to recorded thunderstorms, and many strange items like plastic bottles banging, saucepan lids dangling off chairs etc. This makes it more likely that these dogs will be more stress tolerant, resilient and not tending to be anxious.

They’re also being socialized a lot by people including children. A puppy is supposed to be handled by about 100 people in between week three and eight and another hundred people in between week eight and 12 to make sure that they are open, friendly and not fearful. They will also meet other dogs, horses and my own cat.

My goal is to have these pups develop into very healthy dogs including all aspects , the physical aspect, the mental aspect and also being mixed breed puppies means that the genetic foundation should be better than the average purebred dog.

The puppies that are currently available are Leon, Pumuckel, Rupert and Zora

Thank you,
Tina

This is Harley, Nancy's dog. Harley is a Whippet. As you can see Harley isn't liking this cold weather. Who does? He doesn't like to leave home without his jacket and booties. Doesn't he look so cute, just like a baby deer ready to take it's first step!!! Make sure when you stop in to visit, say hello to Harley. He loves lots of loving and mackerel and lamb treats.
